So, in this thread, I'll gather what I discovered for now...

 

1-You can't use GIFs on your Profile... Well, you CAN, but the GIFs doesn't appear as animated in the forums, just in your profile page

2-There is a new mod around here. HK-47. (Assassinations Protocols Initiated)

 

3-You can change your Background(but not get rid of the white) in: Profile... In the upper part there is "View new content". Beside it there is a Tool(The far right one). Click on it and it will appear various backgrounds.

 

4-Getting rid of the White: Here is the thread

5-We now have a Post Count and new Emoticons (   )

 

6- For your games to appear under your avatar, you need to:

 

Go to your Profile in the OLD  BSN. Here is mine, for example http://social.biowar...30202/#bw_games

 

When you get there, click on the game you have (for example, Mass Effect 3-[MegaIllusiveMan]).

 

Then copy the URL of your N7HQ

 

And then go to "Edit My Profile" on your Profile page.

 

Scroll down. It will appear "Game Profiles". Then, you paste the URL Link you have on your CTRL+C on the Game you want to "Register".

 

Click Save Changes.

 

Voilà.

 

7- We don't have any PMS now... To see the old ones, go to the Old BSN Page and go there to see it.

 

8- We are now called BFF- Bioware Forum Frequenters

Edit 2: 10- Your notifications now appear like Facebook. On that Globe in the left side of Sign out. It will show how many notifications you have.

Edit 4: 11-Your Profile now has a Rating System. It's represented by the 5 Stars. You can't like your own profile.

 

12- In "Edit My Profile" Tab, there are a couple of interesting things... For example,

•  Allow members to leave comments on my profile
•  Allow me to approve comments before they are displayed on my profile
•  Show last 5 visitors on my profile

Edit 5: 13-  The Threads are now real-Time. No need to refresh your Browser to see new Replies to that Topic

 

Edit 6: 14- We now have a Spoiler Tag. Not sure how to use it yet...

You can post in spoiler tags by selecting the blue "twitter" icon, and then choosing Spoiler from the dropdown of options which appears afterwards.

At the top of the page, you will see a grey bar which says: ALL UPDATES (which will be everyone on here) and FRIENDS' UPDATES (which will just be your friends in your network, like the old feed. Sorta)

Currently they have that disabled by design, let me see if I can find the post from yesterday.

 

 

I believe the behaviour of no images in signatures is by design - a small number of people managed to add them when the site first went up, but it was changed a few minutes later.

As far as I can tell the only way you can see that is if you 1. Follow the thread itself (there is an option at the top to follow) and this will give you notifications every time anyone posts in said thread, or 2. Go to a persons profile and click POSTS on the left hand side. I believe this shows any posts in discussions. 

Other people may learn more though!

When editing the post, there is a flag that you can check. It's like this:

Thanks greatly for the how-to guide on getting my games listed, but because I apparently never "activated" DA2 or something, I ended up having to link to yours. I registered my copy, but my BSN profile said I still needed to activate the game, and obviously its kind suggestion that I try again later when inevitably it was revealed I can't do that now is not worth salt.

I never bother with this social rep stuff outside of the bare minimum, so it's no wonder I left something out. But I did want to let you know I was linking to you for DA2. I just don't see any other options. It's not like I'm stealing authenticity, I mean, the registry seems to operate independently. I could post in the ME3 forum before doing this, after all.

By the by, is there any particular reason ME2 has been taken off the menu? It, uh, came out after Origins...

Anyone else having trouble quoting posts? Doesn't seem to work for me. Neither do a lot of the functions in the edit form, they just bring up dialogs that freeze. I suspect it may be an script issue at my end.
