I'll see about putting a proper mod together once my Liara and EDI mods are done. :)

Getorex, could I bundle up the textures I have and pack them up with tweaks to your spec to apply to your Collector replacement?  Kinda just put them up as an addendum to your mod?  Then I would only need to prep a femShep version with ele's stuff.

Survivor, I did all the posing in Blender but could export to fbx. The models are unaltered psks of the original game models. I'll get them together for you shortly.

Survivor, here is the first fbx (Ashley Spectre Armor, posed).  Give it a try to see if you can work with it.  I converted it from the old fbx format Blender produces to fbx 2012 with Autodesk's fbx converter app.

It looked perfect in the converter so hopefully it will do for you:  http://www.mediafire...-posed-2012.fbx

Note...on closer look, it is ALMOST perfect.  The body (the important part for the pose) is OK but the head and assault rifle are rotated -90 degrees relative to the body.  Not sure why but it is easily fixable in your modeling app.

Off topic for a moment but...just started playing ME1 again with MEUTM installed.  Difficult to get working (the game) though not sure if the hi-res texture pack plays some role in this.  LOTS of GPFs or complete failures to even start...until I went with Windows XP SP2 compat mode.  Now the GPFs are occasional rather than constant.  What I do wonder is if anyone else around here 1) has a recent NVidia card; 2) has 3D Vision capability on your rig; 3) can get 3D Vision working properly with ME1.

ME1 is the one game in the series that receives an "excellent" with regards to compatibility with NVidia's 3D capabilities.  All my games work with 3D Vision just fine (where you wear the polarized glasses like in the theater 3D movie, not the bi-color glasses) EXCEPT ME1.  It alone keeps starting up and going into anaglyph mode 3D - that is the red and green 3D type where you need the bi-color glasses.  It SHOULD be running in the 3D Vision dual polarization mode but nothing I do so far will kick it into that mode.  Anyone happen to know a (or the) trick to this?  Traffic is so low here now vs the heyday but still hoping someone somewhere will have an answer.

Finally, I'm not sure if it is the hi-def textures or something else but if I play in 2D mode, I cannot see icons on the radar or maps (try and explore a planet in the Mako with the radar and maps coming up blank!), I cannot see the health bars for anyone, I cannot see the a lot of helpful hud stuff - it's just invisible.  They all become visible in 3D mode, however, but it's the wrong 3D mode.

Sure, go ahead.

Thanks, Getorex :)  I'll credit you for the spec file and such when I post them.

Have you tried the latest? It just came out and it has a lot less crashes and other issues. There's also a change in the texture ini settings recommended.

A new one? How do you identify the new one from the old? A version number or name alteration?

Note: I looked around and assume you mean the latest patch? 1.02? I've applied it but it still appears that I can only play the game in 3d mode and because it's the wrong type of 3d I have to get blue/red glasses to do that.

Can anyone confirm whether or not the most recent me3explorer breaks mods made with rev 644 or 645? I see the latest rev is 648 and wonder if I'm going to have to update my mods again soon.

Using 648 and no issue with mods.
Only thing that changed from 645 to 648 appears to be to do with TOC reading

JohnP: Updated AutoTOC to also work with completely unpacked DLC since we can add mods as DLC now. Detects whether TOC being generated is for main game or DLC.

If you use Tortoise SVN just right click on the base folder and go to Tortoise > show log
That tells you what has altered between the revisions.

I saw that change...does it require starting over from vanilla or can an upgrade to 648 work with an already unpacked and treescanned system?

If you need to rescan they'll tell us, so no. K's the only one that makes changes to treescan afaik so no change there until he's done rewriting the texture tools (not sure if he needs to change anything there that will require a rescan).

The date is in the file name, for instance the newest one is MEUITM060214 in the torrent file list. Don't pay any attention to the update dates on the side, they don't update for some reason.

I see you mean the texture mod, not the game.  I'm reinstalling the game from scratch (hope I can get Bring Down the Sky installed...always a pain in the ass) and will try the newer MEUITM mod as well.

Yeah, I set up a txt file with the serial key so I never lose it (unless I get hit by an emp, ugh). For anyone else interested in a top-notch texture mod for Mass Effect 1 it's located here.

Here is a modest test Spec for the Tali full face mod, Default uniform.  Would someone (*cough* Almostfaceman? *cough*) be willing to give it a try and post a pic so I can see if the effect is what I was aiming for?  Purdyplease?

http://www.mediafire...lowEye-Test.zip

If works as hoped I will make it part of the mod and add it to the alternate uniform as well.

On ME1...I've been playing for a few days with MEUITM and it looks great as far as it goes.  I'd forgotten how DARK the entire game is.  Not emotionally but actually dark.  It would be great to see some texture mods that lighten up the environments a bit more (like the Normandy) so you can actually SEE the new textures better.  It's like the ship (and other locales) are lit by candles.  As for Tali, perhaps it is just some scenes but the glowing eyes are MUCH less prominent in ME1 than they were in ME2 and ME3.  Hopefully my specular test here will split the difference and provide the full face mod with a little bit of cat-like glowing eye (reflecting light rather than emitting) without making her look creepy.  Test and post pics please!

If you could please double-check the construction of that tali eye tpf, me3explorer barfed just trying to load it, which is the first time that's ever happened to me and I've installed over a thousand tpf's with this current build. It doesn't like something about the hash, says something about it is in the incorrect format. I'll also try re-downloading to see if it got corrupted.

Yeah I'm a big fan of MEUITM, and with regards to how dark ME1 is, I just turn up the gamma or brightness to try and reach some sort of compromise. I haven't found an enb that really does it for me for that particular game.

I don't know why that one crapped out.  Here's another version built via Texmod (through TPF Tools): http://www.mediafire...owEyes-Test.zip

That one installed no issues. I have to kick Cerberus butt on the Citadel then I'll be going to pick up Tali so I'll get that done today and post some screenies.

Looks really good on the Normandy, in my humble opinion. Here's some screenies:

The only thing I would nit-pick at this point is the suit textures, more obviously on the neck area. You can see in the last photo how the light falls unevenly - I see this usually on textures I "fix" with me3explorer (the mips).

Here's a shot, I thought it would be a little better, of everyone with the glass faced helmets, Ottemis high texture mods for both Liara and Shep's armor and Tali's face and eye mod.

Thanks for the screenshots.  I'll try and tweak the eye spec a bit to round it up on the ends a bit but it does look pretty decent.  Much better than the full eye or even just full iris glow I tried originally.  I'll make it an optional texture.

Thanks Almostfaceman.  Here's the slightly tweaked eyes: Tali-GlowEyes-61114.zip

No, thank YOU sir, these eyes look really good in my humble opinion. I'll try out the slightly tweaked eyes very soon, thanks.
