Ottemis, that's not a derail, that is on-topic as I have been waiting for you to complete this so I could take the material edits from Largon's mod and use them in my own EDI. I'll d/l as soon as it's available and pull the binaries files.
Mesh Modding with textures on the side.

She looks good might even get me to put allers back in game. Maaaaybe
Not me, I'll stick to using the Diana Allers Begone mod that I developed instead. ![]()
That said, it would be cool to get a better mesh for Ann Bryson in the Leviathan DLC, though (since it sounds like both Allers and Ann used the same head mesh).

Once the head is fully weighted and correct for animation in ME3, it becomes much easier from there to use the head on other characters (like possibly as a replacement for default femshep) including Bryson. Although I do say that I don't really see a need to do anything with a bit character like Bryson at all. She's only there for something like 5 minutes in the entire game, a minor NPC that only appears briefly on one mission and then is never seen again.
I prefer to focus on characters you see all the time (whether you want to or not).
Anyway, the Allers-Keitner mod is weighted and, on the mesh level, ready to try in the game. A bit of tweaking of the face texture coloration and she'll be truly ready for trial.

EDI mod update. I applied the material edits from the Eva mod to EDI and I like the effect, but will have to now alter my textures a little to work better with the new material settings. This is EDI now, with my original textures (diff and spec) but with Largon's materials. Her hair is now dark, her skin is a bit too dark and are her lips:
As for Allers/Keitner, I've remapped Keitner's hair to work with my modified Ashley hair texture (I altered the alpha layer to allow for wider hair mesh strips).
Removing the alpha layer from both the diff and spec, going for near saturation on her teeth (white) and red in her mouth is starting to make her mouth look better. Also lightened her lips.

The sharp change in texture/reflectivity is still driving me nuts up there on her forehead. I do NOT understand where it is coming from. There is absolutely nothing in either her diff or spec that indicate there should be any change in texture appearance at all.

Moving a few vertices around, I'm getting close (enough) with EDI's forehead render glitch to soon release the mod update (finally). I transferred some scalp vertices/faces to her face and remapped them in the UV to fit accordingly. That has largely corrected the small patch of upper forehead that reflects oddly vs the rest of her face and head. I also whitened her teeth on the diff image even more so the teeth look more teeth-like in-game. At this point it may be easier for me to simply make a small adjustment to her hair to cover the upper part of her forehead that still peeks though near her hair's part.

This new Allers-Keitner looks a bit like original Ash from ME1 to me.

I see. Overall she looks pretty good. But out of curiosity, are you going to fix Allers' default face? Keitner kinda ruins the idea for me of her being a reporter. I like Jessica Chobot's looks, I just think Bioware did a poor job putting them into the game. Any way to make her look a bit like this? To make her face less round I guess? I don't know, to make her look cute.

Glad to know, Geto. Combine it with ELE's 'modest Allers' mod and maybe I will begin to think of romancing her... Thank you for everything you do. BTW, how is ME3explorer doing? Is it still buggy as hell or somewhat stable? What version would you recommend for your mods and modmaking itself? I update regularly.

I am currently on the latest svn and would say you are good to go with my mods (or making them) for at least the the last 3 or 4 revisions.
I don't know ELE's modest Allers mod. Did she put her in more professional attire? Less skin around the shoulders and chest?

Looks good, Getorex, looks very good. The "modest Allers" mod in question is here.Allers-Keitner mod...progressing. Getting fairly well along on blending the textures and changing the skin tone of Keitner's face to more closely match Allers' skin tone.

That looks good. I like it. It's much better than the original attire. For me to make either head edit work with this (Allers or Keitner's head) I would need permission from ELE because Allers head is integral to her body (like the Ash or Liara romance bodies) so I would have to combine ELE's modest attire/dress with my head(s). The upside would be no worries about blending skin tones.
My question: has anyone actually romanced Allers in the game? If so does she use the underwear body that Traynor and Femshep share or is there no such scene(s)? If there is then I would have to mess with that to make it work.

I need some information as I rebuild the EDI mod (finally)...the ProMar pccs for Bossfight and Finale, those are the burnt EDI/EVA models aren't they? I haven't played that end part of the Mars Mission with my mod installed and always assumed it worked fine with the original EDI models there because they used the burned textures, but when I do a search in Texplorer for EDIa's scalp diff or face diff, it lists those two ProMar (mars mission) pcc files as among those using the textures...but the burned texture is a different set. There's been no conflicts with my EDI mod at that point in the game has there? I didn't change the body or head for EDI in those pccs before because I wanted the new EDI to only appear for the Reveal on the Normandy onward based on the assumption of the body being repaired and cleaned up after the fight.
Anyone have any information on this? I need to know as I rebuild the mod.

I watched on YouTube and so called 'Romance' (just a flirt really) ended with a single kiss. And I bet no one on the Normandy will ever know about it even if you have your other romance going.

Good, so it's like Chambers in ME2. A freebie.

The pccs for Mars have her entire default body in them, but I saw no conflict when I installed my uniform mod or any EDI makeover ![]()
Edit: I didn't change the model in those files for my mod, but I did change the textures.
