I THOUGHT I'd already updated Tali's mod to be all-inclusive but apparently haven't.  I'll get that packaged too.

Hmm.  The face and scalp.

Are you, by chance, playing Collector's Edition?  I'll get the textures together and provide them as simple dds files.  You can then apply them via Texplorer.

Alternatively, in the OP post where I have EDI first listed, there are two file packages available.  The first is the latest combination of the mod EDI-Full-Makeover-71714.zip and below that is a manual install package for DLC.  Your issue is texture-related so you may only need to worry about the texture files (the dds files).  If you didn't try the above full makeover mod, please do.  If that is what gave you the above result then download the second DLC zip and install the dds files provided.  You look for EDIa (advanced search) in Texplorer and replace all the scalp textures with the provided dds textures (the face texture is no longer used with my mod so it doesn't matter...only the scalp - it contains her scalp, hair, and face together).  In Texplorer right-click on the Diff and select "Easy" and then "Insert biggest image" and select the correct texture from the file.  Do the same for the norm and spec.  Go to File afterwards and save changes.

Ok next issue. I have a vanilla copy installed but when I go to look for file BioH_EDI_03  I don't have one. Where is this file located?

BioH_EDI_03.pcc is DLC.  It is Alt Appearance Pack 1.  From this question I assume you either do not have that DLC installed or, once again, the Collector's Edition has done violence to the naming and locations of pccs vs standard/original game.

Well I have two ME3 games I guess I will have to uninstall and load the other one. To see if that fixes it. *grumble*

All I see in the dlc file is a .sfar. I don't see any .pcc files

Don't do that (yet).

EDI_03.pcc is the normal/standard game pccs that gives EDI the armor.

In Texplorer do a search for EDIf.  Look for BIOG_HMF_EDIf_Diff in the list of hits.  Click that and you will see the diff, norm, spec for that armor (assuming you have it).

To get your DLC working with the mod you will have to manually install the models (upk) files into the EDI pcc files in whatever folder Collector's Edition holds the Citadel stuff in.

RMAM, besides installing the upks from the dlc package in the OP of this thread, make sure you are installing the textures as well in Texplorer.  The issue you had with EDI's head/face looks like a spec issue (I think).  Installing the EDI scalp textures via Texplorer will hopefully place the textures in all the right places.

Beyond that, I am rebuilding the Tali mod.  Almost done.  I also extracted the Tali-c model (the DLC Leviathon armor/uniform variant) so I can see if I can do anything useful with it.  I didn't mod it at all before (with her face nor did I edit the body) because the faceplate obscures everything so giving her a face was pointless.  Instead, I'll look at the visor and determine if I can edit it enough to make SOME part of the face visible, then substitute in Tali's alternate uniform and face, with the Tali-c edited visor.  A bit of a hybrid.

In rebuilding the Tali mod I found a pcc that I missed originally so as soon as it's done there should be no gaps (or glitches, I hope).  The mod will apply to main game AND DLC.  Textures I'll place in a separate tpf so Collector's Edition types can extract and install via Texplorer.  I'll also provide the body models (upk) so manual import of those can be done too.

I should have provided a screenshot and if you want, I may do-it!

There's one thing though, it would be great to know in what order it should be installed to insure that in works. Better yet: in what order you installed-it.

Mr.Ph11: The only mod, thus far, that seems to have a preference for order of install is the EDI mod (don't know why).  Install the textures, THEN install the mesh portion.  The Tali mod shouldn't matter at all.

At the moment, the Tali mod on my system is the result of direct install of mesh and textures as I was building the mod rather than running the mods.

So on the edi mod you suggest loading textures first. I have always done the other way

RMAM: I would, in this case, recommend that order for my EDI mod.  I've gotten odd results if done the other way.  I don't know if it was just a local glitch or not but applying the mesh after corrected my issues.

I did end up reloading game and for some reason when i did the treescan it was bigger than the last time. Which might be why I am having some issues.  :P Waiting to finish vanilla backup. Then will try again

OK, faster than anticipated, the Tali mod update is complete.  I also found a second pcc I missed before so this mod applies to ALL Tali-containing pcc files except TLIc (the alt armor version with face armor covering everything as mentioned above).  I've also included a tpf of the correct textures.  When you load the tpf you will get two bolded version of the alternate Norm.  This is not a problem so once you load the tpf, analyze with texplorer, you can install valid and it will all go in. Testing it myself, I will try tweaking the opacity on Tali's alternate uniform visor a bit.  Though it is set the same as her default uniform, on my system it comes off looking almost clear.  That's been the pain with tweaking this mod.  Very slight changes in the opacity setting produces results that don't really match the adjustments.

Hey, Getorex -

Just a bit of a heads-up,  the .tpf alternative for your Miranda 'makeover' - this one?  Well, the tpf in the file looks like this:

"Miranda-White-Ash-Uniform-Textures.MEtpf".

It's easy enough to change, but some folks might think it's busted or sumthin'.

The MEtpf is made through TPF Tools and gets that suffix because it is specific to ME3explorer.  It wont work (I don't believe) if someone tried to use it in Texmod.  I've edited the information for the file at Nexus so it states it is an ME3explorer tpf (MEtpf) and you need TPF Tools to install it.  If I renamed the suffix to just tpf it would still work in TPF Tools but I would likely run into people trying to use it with Texmod and posting to say it's broken.

I'm almost finished (I think) with an edit for the Tali-c mesh (Leviathon armor - basically her alternate uniform with a visor that mostly covers her face).  I have edited the visor to expose more face (mainly around the eyes) and placed it onto a copy of the Alternate uniform, then weighted it.  Export to psk, import into UDK, test in game, and, hopefully, it will work as is.  Sometimes the skin weights seem to get a little borked when you export a mesh from the game - her face may have suffered a little from this.

I also have scaled her face down a little smaller - at some angles her face, as is, seems a bit large.  It's an illusion but when up close it does look a little large.  I'll update the Tali mod with the new models with smaller faces in a day or so.

Addition: I've completed the face scaling and have been tweaking the meshes a bit to smooth out flaws from when I first made changes.  Hopefully done in a day or so.  I'll update the zip file and then announce the update here.

Ah, gotcha.

Not that it worked for me, I'm afraid.  I tried all your alternatives and just got Miri in the blackest suit she's ever owned.  Probably something I'm doing wrong, but after an hour of feckin' with it, I've finally given up.  I've likely got the one copy of ME3 that just likes being contrary.

Do you have Collector's Edition?  If so you need to manually install the textures.  Extract them from the MEtpf and install them via Texplorer.  You do an advanced search for MIRa, highlight the diff, switch to the main Texplorer window, right-click, select Easy -> install biggest image. Navigate to where you extracted the dds textures and select the diff.  Do the same thing for the norm and spec.

Jeez, I'm kinda happy to not have the CE for PC, looks much more complicated on the modding side!

Edit: just tested Tali full mod. I have to say it looks very good. I love-it!

It isn't an inherent flaw in the CE, it is simply the fact that I do not have the CE, I have Digital delux.  My mods, being made on a standard version of the game will work with the original and similar variants.  The Collector's Edition is a later game put together differently.

On the other hand, if I had CE and made my mods on it, people with Digital Delux or other standard versions would be having problems with my mods.  I'm not going to go out and buy CE as it offers nothing I don't already have (or want) so to be able to use my mods, it requires CE users to do some manual installing.  Mainly this affects the DLC only.

Oh, and Mr.Ph11, I'm glad it now works for you.

Got a new question for you:

I installed your Ashley-Face-Body-Makeover-Fullv8. Not sure if that's intended, but while I went for the Geth Squadron mission, she kept her fatigues on (I think that's the same as shepard's #4 outfit, the one she wears at the start). I found that weird, with Shepard and James wearing full combat armors...

That's only true because Geto doesn't own it, it's a sub-optimal situation for a modder to not have access to all files, as load priority sometimes favors files the modder doesn't own and replacing all files is paramount for a consistent mod leaving users to do this by hand. I wouldn't be happy you don't own it rather than being sad he doesn't.

Geto, you could consider building on a yarr copy just to make sure you can hit all files up before release. You don't need to play with it in the end, just build.

That's not intended, nor have I ever heard of this before. The aaliance uniform should be worn by Ash on the Normandy and on the Citadel, never on missions. Not sure how that would happen.

On Thessia (breathable Athmosphere) Liara wears her helmet (probably because of option Default/always on), Ash in fatigues and with her mask and Shep, Asphyxiating because she ain't wearing anything? Nah, but there it is for ya:
