Is there still a news feed buried in here somewhere?

Where I can see where my friends have recently posted and such.

If not... Why take away such a useful thing

For anyone still struggling to find the updates: Click on your profile, then PROFILE FEED, scroll to the bottom and click ALL UPDATES, then on the grey bar at the top it will say ALL UPDATES or FRIENDS' UPDATES. - DuckSoup

I think this is how. Anyone else know any better do please let me know!

Go to your settings and go to NOTIFICATIONS. Check all the left hand boxes and this will then give you notifications in red on that little globe at the top, sort of like Facebook. Should be all your friends, but I don't know for sure yet.

You can now also follow particular forums and you'll get notifications when someone posts in them (I think!)

I think that's all we get. But I'm still working my way around the site, so someone else may be able to figure it out.

There seems to be only the friends' feed page. Any other activity can be notified via the Notifications options by subscribing or liking stuff around the Forums.

Where's that all updates link? The only way I can access that is going through Open Quick Navigation->Community->Member Status Updates. It's nice that status updates are there but I do too miss the post activity (and ability to comment those).

Nothing in profile feed:

Yeah, thats what I've got too. Could be I'm just missing something.

Really wish they had a news feed page like the old BSN since that was usually what I'd check at a glance to see if there was anything interesting going on with regards to topics friends had posted in or status updates. It was nice having all of that in one centralized location.

Okay, you may have to update your own status first. Give that a try, anyway.

At the bottom of my PROFILE FEED there is button that says ALL UPDATES. Once I click on that, I get all my updates and any that are linked directly to myself and then I also get two other options on the grey bar: ALL UPDATES and FRIENDS UPDATES.

They made the whole process of seeing what your friends are posting as annoying and unuseful as possible. You can look for posts by a specific person by mousing over their name (on your friends list, or wherever they're posting) and you'll get this card popup that not only violates that user's privacy, but also has a 'find content' button so you can see what they've posted on recently.

But yes they really need to give us back our Home Pages.

Yeah, you need to have at least one status update before that button shows. Rather weird to be honest. "Open Quick Navigation->Community->Member Status Updates" works always though.
