Mainly, I want to know if we still have the option of not displaying everything we post on our profile, like we used to. I haven't been able to find an option to disable it, and I consider it a fairly important privacy issue.

I have worked out some solutions, through settings, for groups. The problem is that profiles don't have options for deciding what can or can't be displayed, such as what you post, or what group topics you create. If those options can be rendered private, the group's functions become manageable.

if you're the group owner, go to your GroupCP, then on Manage Forums on the left side, then on EDIT next to your forum on the right side. Here you can select if discussion posts are viewable by Guests or Members only. That's as Private as it gets for Groups.
