I am already blinded by this white flash of light that lit my dingy basement as I opend BSN FBC.... BF..?? at  dawn today. Now I see this ominous "0 warning points" link beneath my profile pic on every post. And I seem to be the only one getting this "ominous link"... What's happening? Am I being stalked? Watched? I am paranoid!! I hear that there is a new mod in town who goes by a friendly name "HK-47"..... I can't seem to remove this "link" from my profile! Help!!

Everyone sees that, but only for their own posts. Not anyone else's. (Though probably Mods see it on everyone)

It's the same thing for a forum I moderate.  Instead of having to PM users about warnings, they can just click 'warn member' below your avatar and warn you via that, as well as have the option to send a PM to the user and leave notes for other moderators. And then you can also click on that to see your warning history instead of having to scroll through PMs to find whatever.

Alright... so its just that only you can see that link in your posts??... I don't want to catch notoriety in other sub-forums because of that link , should it be visible to everyone..

It's a super easy moderating tool, I use it to abuse the other mods on my forum.

I've been banned and it says 0... Does this means that our criminal record has been cleared?

Or it will forever be as 1?

 

Also, what is the max warning point before you get banned/perma-banned?

Mods can reduce the warning level.

Can we bribe for negative warning points? I have a couple cupcakes here and it'd be a shame to eat them all alone by myself.

I remember being "bribed" with cupcakes in the past.. probably not the proper choice (plus I am currently dieting)

 

Also if you have been banned in the past we see you have been, but just your warn level is at 0 because that part has no real direct mapping

You'll be able to take a 'Safe Posting' course to lower the points on your licence, er account.

I think only users that had been perma banned have points. There accounts are again active but they are on a short leash as far as I know. For the rest of us I'd say are accounts have been cleared.

Is it every time we get a warning point do we get a temp. ban? Or can we get warning points without the ban?

Warning points and bans are seperate, you can have multiple warning points without a ban and vice versa. It's the mod's decision how you're 'punished' for misconduct.
