Nope.
By the way, me0120, if you want to show you are a better player in something than someone else...
...what you should be playing is GTA V. You can spawn kill, destroy lower level players with weapons they can't possibly get, take their money, and humiliate them until they flee the server.
That's the game for you. GTA V is much more honest in that regard than ME3.
O.o what does that have to do with throwing cluster grenades at phantoms?
Well, if what you are doing is throwing those cluster grenades to beat the snot in score out of the guy playing next to you, and doing things like spawn nuking for the same reason, and doing things like saying the Shadow is a terrible class because it doesn't let you score high enough in the boards....
...then you should be playing GTA! Where beating the snot out of the person next to you doesn't include the lie that 'you were being helpful.' ![]()
@Kel
Well the BoL is now under "Other fan creations" even though there's still "Fan creations" subforum. I guess BoL has nothing to do with ME then acording to the mods...
What is BoL?
Also I spawn nuke for 2 reasons: I was at the perfect spot and time to do it..and because I'm lazy and didn't feel like killing moar and just wanted the game to go a little smoother. I'm basically admitting to being lazy in a game. Spawn nuking due to laziness and only when it's convenient lolol
I don't really care about score other than it's the only indicator I have for how well I played a class in a particular game... I measure that against my own previous performance.
I'd much rather have preferred the rather detailed statistics that the ie. left4dead series displays after a game (even in the coop games which is all I played). Found those interesting to follow.
Faerie mentioned it earlier in this thread. I use it as a barometer for how much I've contributed to the team.
That being said, when I play with friends or other BSNers, I like looking at it just to see how I compare to the other players in terms of "skill" (I use that term very loosely). That being said, if someone is using a TGI Harrier build... I disregard that score unless I am using a kit that is just as cheesy.
N7 rank is more important imo
It's kind of fun to try and go for top score if there's somebody else around that can give you a good run.
However, ultimately the score is meaningless and coming in second place doesn't automatically mean that the first place person is more "skilled" than you are.

Everyone has ego so coming last on the scoreboard all the time can be disheartening. Don't you remember your first experiences with MP ? Score did matter then because you wanted to contribute rather than be carried.
Jump ahead a few hundred/thousand hours and score is not so important for most because you are not in that position anymore and probably capable of clutching waves when needed or enjoying trying out underused low DPS kits knowing that you will contribute as much or more than other players

I actually remember my first Gold game. Playing a Human Engineer on Firebase White against the Geth(not camping at the counter of shame, which still existed back then).
While I did come in last on the scoreboard, I also didn't care because I felt I contributed with my CC from Combat Drone and Chain Overload.
The only time I think about score is comparing it to my previous runs. It's a way for me to tell if I'm improving. Otherwise I don't really care. If I'm having fun and everyone's working together well then that's all that matters to me.
I don't/haven't done any of those things. Getting 100k points more than the next person can be as simple as walking around with an Arc pistol and shooting everything in the head. Or in a Drell Vanguards case...surviving.
I don't know....you make me suspicious.....
There's nothinng suspicious about a trench coat. ![]()
Agreed, Score really only matters if your trying to level a character. Once you have it maxed, it's not really an issue.
HOWEVER, Score is a nice way of keeping track of how good you personally are doing, to a greater or lesser extent, and it IS rather annoying when you do 90% of the damage to an enemy, someone else comes along for the last 10%, and gets the kill credit. You get more XP off the Assist then they did off the Kill, but when someone has 50 kills and you have 50 assists. . . yeah, that gets annoying.
i wish instead of points you get banana stickers instead.

Also your avatar is now inexcusable you can upload freely. You disappoint me so.

Score is really important. Just try this - the next time you get 200K in U/U/G, take a screenshot and then show it to random girls (preferably strangers) in your school/workplace/street. Your rep will go up instantly.
