I can see you have to be 18 to enter. Will this have to be proven at any point? I'm 17 and would like to enter, but if I'm going to be physically stopped by my age, then there's no point in trying.
I suspect they'll only ask if you win. They need you to be eighteen to sign all the relevant legal forms atleast. I suppose it wouldn't hurt to give it a shot though.I can see you have to be 18 to enter. Will this have to be proven at any point? I just entered its pretty fun! I didn't use an accent though. Should I have?
They want your speech patterns more than your ability to hold a foreign accent. Don't worry about it.I just entered its pretty fun! I didn't use an accent though. Should I have?
Haha, I definitely had fun with the Seneschal's voice! And the villager's script is nice and dramatic too.
I highly encourage everyone to apply - even if just for the fun of it!
Here's what I came up with! Perhaps some of you will get a kick out of it and/or find it unique/interesting.
And thanks, Jessica, for the clarification!

Damn. You should totally submit your villager take. It was really good.
Wow okay.
Way to be so epic, Michael.

Holy crap, you got a lot of talent man. Do you do voice recordings/video dubbing often?

Dayum, that was the best one I've heard so far.

Thank, bud! I really appreciate that.
This is actually my first time ever recording a voiceover! It's something I really want to get into though - it's a blast coming up with wildly different characters/voices. And of course Bioware, with their narrative-driven approach to gaming, is like the perfect company to do something like this for.

All I know is you have range, consistency, and the ability to hold a different speech pattern and pace. That's a lot of hard work to do when you're just using your voice.

Favorite!
I'd love to hear a recording of your regular voice but with a British accent - you'd make a great Inquisitor (that is... if there's going to be more than one option for male!!).
I totally didn't know there was a thread where we could post up our auditions!
I'll bung my one up in here too, I'm not happy with it but I had to do it on the fly and I'm definitely not a natural actor, LOL!:
And here's me hamming it up for a laugh as the Seneschal:

I love them all. ![]()
Here is my take on the Villager for fun since I live in the part Europe that is not the UK
Might as well add mine, not sure how, so i'll put a link ^^ couldn't do the Seneschal script, the ending line kept turning out in a jordie accent, so out of place.
I made a couple, most of them being the first script. I'll post the first one, if anyone wants to see the others you just have to check my account. I will say though that I didn't like the second script much, I felt off when I recorded myself. It's also my first time doing anything voice acting related so I'm nervous about it.

So much talent filling the air, love it! Here's my villager audition. Good luck, everyone!
