My audition! I seriously don't think I've ever practiced so much for such a short script

These entries are so good. Everyone rocks.

 

I gave an entry a really good shot but I couldn't make anything that sounded any good. So, I got frustrated and recorded myself playing the saxophone. (Because I'm an OK saxophonist.)

Also, you can still hear my voice acting in the middle of that where I say, "Nick, stop jumping on the couch .... thankyou." (My son was jumping on the couch.)

 

Go Aussie voices! Thanks, BioWare for the competition. Sorry I chickened out at the last minute. I did actually learn a few important things about voice acting through the process of making my entry. (My actual entry which I hate, not the sax recording.)

Heh, I was going to do my final recording in the last few days, but I ended up with a sore throat, great timing, eh?

I wanted to have a go at this, but once I played the recording back I realised I have a voice that makes want to rip my own larynx out.
It was quite enlightening.

I've heard some very good auditions, so I'll be interested to see who wins.

Although I have to admit, whilst involving the community in the game like this is nice, it should have been open to everyone, or else to no one, for the sake of fairness.

Haha, I definitely had fun with the Seneschal's voice! And the villager's script is nice and dramatic too.

I highly encourage everyone to apply - even if just for the fun of it!

Dang... I wanted to enter a submission. The official rules had conflicting info on the end date. I went by the End Date in the "timing table" (March 24th at 11:59PM) because it doesn't make much sense for a contest to end one minute after hitting the end date. I snoozed, I loozed. Blerg.

I made a last minute submission myself. The whole point for me was to see what I could do and have fun. I can't wait to see who wins...I especially can't wait to hear their voice it game, that'll be cool.
