Welcome back. Ashley's Sanctuary is closed, thanks to BSN moving to the new forums.

However, that's not a bad thing: the old Ashley Fan Thread is back and open again! You may find it here by following this link: http://forum.bioware...e-spoiler-free/

That means, we can continue where we had to stop nearly 1/1/2 years ago. It's a miracle. More or less. Well, welcome back. All of you.

That's cool, but I can't post on forums, because my account with ME3 on it was hacked a year ago (or 2?). I was able to auto-log-in because of wierd bug in my browser. I guess I'll just keep reading posts.

Heyas, thanks for the invitation!

Nice to see that rectified. Shutting the entire section down was a bad move anyhow.

Sad to hear that. =/ Let me guess, support wasn't exactly helpful there?

I think it's nearly impossible to recover a hacked account - depending on the country where you live. Especially Russia. -.-

I hope they change the color scheme for the forums. The colors they're using now kind of bug me. Too much white.

Any idea why they decided to migrate the forums to a different server? This is just me, but I find the old forums format more intuitive and it was quicker to navigate from one section to another.

Yeah, I don't know why they did this.

And maybe it's just the "I don't like change" part of me talking, but I think I agree with you. I can't even get the "quote" button to work when I want to write a reply.

Perhaps there's something about the new format that will make it easier for them to police the forums. That might be why the character threads are open again. Which I suppose I'm happy about - the fact that the occasional anti-Ash troll can wander in is more than made up for by the fact that a public thread is easier for Ash fans to find.

I actually really like the new forum. A few things need to be updated though:

-GIF avatars need to animate in threads

-Colour scheme should be dark

-Return of the old Home Feed

I prefer everything else over the old BSN

Just published Chapter 6: Sword of Damocles. Special thanks to Survivor for proof-reading and editing the original text. This si the link if you want to check it out:

https://www.fanficti...s-and-Assassins

Since there are people in the group who may not be familiar with the stuff some of us are writing, I'll just post here the story premise:

Still suffering from head trauma symptoms, recently inducted Spectre Ashley Williams tries to handle her new responsibilities as a Council agent & Alliance officer. The following events occur in the hours leading to the Cerberus coup and in the ensuing chaos and violence. Williams & Thane face a race against time to avert the utter collapse of galactic government amid the Reaper war

Just some food for thought here... If the Ashley Williams "Don't Ash me" thread is constantly visited by people that don't like Ash, as they have frequently expressed in their posts despite not being trolling at the moment, and it becomes just like another regular main forum thread, what is the point of having those discussions open again?

I like the fact that it makes it easy for other Ash fans to find us. The closed group is nice, but a closed group makes it difficult to pick up new members.

Also, the trolling in the old BSN Ash thread was never constant. It did happen from time to time, but mostly I remember posts from other Ash fans. So, I think the benefit outweighs the risk, personally.

I got Trilogy Edition on PS3 for free awhile back. Finally got around to playing it. Just got to Mass Effect 3 with my Female Shepard.

Did BioWare ever fix Ashley's Markman ability? I know it was an issue for the 360, Was it an issue for PS3/PC users as well?

It feels weird not romancing Ashley in this Playthrough, Shame Ashley wasn't an option for Female Shepard :) .

Maybe I can be of assistance.

I tried safari and mozilla. You should be able to use the quote button.

No, it was not fixed. And as far as I know it's a problem for every platform. I no longer invest in Ash's Marksman skill because I want to avoid the issue, and I play on a PC.

It is unlikely this will ever be fixed. Bioware is no longer releasing patches for ME3. On some level, it feels like the final kick in the nads to Ash fans, especially since it was a patch that broke her Marksman skill in the first place. I try to avoid thinking that way, but it is a thought that pops up now and then.

Thanks, yeah, I tried using Chrome and discovered that I can now quote.

I also had to use Chrome while signing up for health insurance through DC Health Link a few months back. You'd think people would consider it a problem if their site doesn't work with IE, considering how many people use it. I guess not, though.

Hello everybody,

I'm quite new of the forums .. and of the trilogy too to be honest, even if I had and played ME1 for few years already ... strange enough I just added ME2 and ME3 just recently and just finished my first playtrough.

Anyway had been a fan of Ash since my first plays with ME1 and happy to find Others in this group.

Bye

Hello peeps, I just published the 7th chapter of my Spectres and Assassins fic. It´s titled "A Williams´Honor" and you will notice that the different narrative strings the story began with are all coming together in chapter 6 and this new one, with the tense face-off between Shepard and Ashley taking place in this one

https://www.fanficti...s-and-Assassins

I hope you enjoy it, there aren't many Ash-centered fics out there and I hope this one has enough quality to keep you reading it.

Hi, fellow Mass Effect fans. I have been checking the forums after the E3 presentation of a few more Andromeda. Not a whole lot of new info, unfortunately. I was curious if you folks kept checking this group or if you came to the BSN at all (I know I didn't, for many months). I am quite interested in MEA, I never played the trilogy a second time, only completed one ME 3 play-through and I'm just not interested in that game anymore.  I hope we learn more about the new characters in MEA, and I hope the humans are just as interesting as Williams. I am a bit disappointed after they said the N7 from the trailers might not be the main character.
