yet more writing and brooding over the stories.
I think MEC is mostly done as far as the raw story goes unless I need to adjust things, but MEC2 is still very much work in progress. While it offers more points to connect with the stories of the ME trilogy, this also feels at times limiting. Not sure yet how much of these I'll leave in and how much of it will be going our own way.

story/stories are sent off to the guys to get some feedback even though that one mission hasn't even been fleshed out in the tiniest bits, I still think a mission there at that time needs to happen ... *sigh*

I set february as the time to get back into MEC.
need to figure some things out, and I really need to get back into MEC badly, because I feel that while some important things were done for MEC or at least like ... set in motion (not entire finished, stuff that is in flux as always ...) not nearly enough things were done for MEC in the past and 2014 in particular.
Also it looks like the people working on ReGaL are making quite some progress, so I really hope that once the resources are done, MEc can be built in this new engine

done with the second DAI playthrough a little ahead of schedule, so I can dedicate the entire weekend to catch up with MEC. Looking forward to roaming the endlessness of space again, even though the Hinterlands certainly seemed endless at times, too ![]()

going over the main story again - mostly just rearranging things, hoping they'll make more sense/are more engaging for players this way.
the basic story of MEC2 - yes, I want to be prepared
- will be more of a challenge to revise. It seems a bit too close to the actual games and using the same 'excuse' over and over. Gotta change that.

still messing around with the main story. Shifting around, so there'll be a proper ending to MEC, but MEC2 will also have interesting points. I briefly even considered MEC3, but things would have been stretched out unnecessarily ... so there'll probably just be a time lapse ... we'll see ![]()

slowly, ever so slowly, typing down the story on the PC because I tend to make rewrites with a pen ...
also some shufflinf around of characters, so even if there had been images of them before, you may not see them again or at least not in the position they were introduced ... oh well ...

updated one squad concept and drew another one, hopefully tomorrow I can type down their backstory info

made a preliminary title sceen with the new logo - and some concept art from the actual ME games (Citadel)
and fiddled around with some of the sprites and made a list of rough sprites - they may not walk properly and not have shadows etc. heck I might use the same body for males and females for a bit until it's further along and the sprites will be refined.

I did work a wee bit on the sprites today. I'm always back and forth about detailing things already and having some very rough stuff to test things with ...
