That would be hard with FES. I'm already playing her on the Portable version anyway. I was also referring to my next playthrough of Golden in anticipation for Ultimax.Minako PT!?

Wait a minute. I just realize. Adachi is gonna appear in Ultimax, right? But doesn't that game take place between Golden and the summer epilogue?
How would that work out?

Just gonna assume you've played Arena or spoiled it by watching it on Youtube, so I'll explain.

It takes place during Golden week, before the summer epilogue in Golden. Brosuke makes a mention of the events when he says things got crazy when you last visited(hence why the characters still look the same during Arena just with some minor changes(Brosuke has year three jacket ect))
Golden summer epilogue is the last known canon event for the P4 cast

I think it's best to view Persona 4 Arena & Ultimax as the Persona 3 cast's story more than 4's. It's essentially their epilogue, so to speak.
The fact that even the three unique P4 character stories where heavily connected to the P3 characters pretty much supports that too. The 4 is only on Arena for marketing.

You know you're a scrub character when you have to fight with Koromaru. No offense to my dawg Koromaru (Get it? Cause- nevermind). Ken just can't pull his own weight so he had to ask Koromaru for help.

Ken the shota King with his hotpants -- He'd make an excellent training dummy if it wasn't for the fact that he's sadly paired up with Koromaru.

If Adachi is not playable I'm not going to play Kens story out of spite.

Why is Ken even in the game anyways, he's not even out of high school let alone part of the Shadow Operatives which is an adult organization.

Here I was picturing Ken as a perpetual 10(11?)-year-old. Silly me.
Well, technically Koromaru is a bit higher than Adachi, ironically, and Minako (scandalous). Although, Ken is not.. hehe
HERESY.

I think I was trying to say that Minako being so low on the list is scandalous -- Should have been more clear on that. :/HERESY.

Nah, I understood that. I just don't get why Minako is so low. She was thrice more tolerable than Minato.

Precisely -- He spends most of the game being a misanthrope, which can be pretty annoying for a protagonist, whereas Minako (as named by fans) is generally one of the most likable Persona protagonists.Nah, I understood that. In Minato's defense, he makes friends (and forms emotional connections with pretty much all of them) and "has fun" on a regular basis. Hell, he can even become the star of a track team.
What really irks me is that he has to be so "edgy" and aloof, keeping up some sort of messiah image while doing so. I guess this is more of a preference thing but it really isn't helping my impression of him. To make things worse, dating a bunch of girls without any of them knowing simply to attain their maximum social links is nothing short of despicable.

Sure, he gains friends, he's the protagonist so why wouldn't he? The main problem lies in how it is executed -- the seemingly lack of much emotional ingenuity within the dialogue the player can pick for him, kinda makes the friendships seem a bit... wooden, and preposterous. To me, Minako carries more integrity, and when she bonds with people it feels more authentic, whether it be on friendly terms, mutual respect or love etc. I'll say this. The sense of progression, from mutual ally to close friend between the Persona 3 cast was excellent done. I liked the idea of them living together, seeing each other every day, it made, on top of it all, the growing friendship seem all the more believable. In Minato's defense, he makes friends (and forms emotional connections with pretty much all of them) and "has fun" on a regular basis. Hell, he can even become the star of a track team.

As for the messiah thing that's going on. This is just how the story is set up, and not so much to do with the character himself I'd say. Yu also had amazing potential, so did Aigis in The Answer, so did Tatsuya in Persona 2, so did Serph in Digital Devil Saga. They are natural born leaders, they all have something the others don't to emasculate their status as the center of the story.
I'd argue whole thing about dating a bunch of girls is on the fault of the game's design, and not so much the character.

That was just a gameplay issue. They seemed to have fixed that with Minako.

I didn't even know you could date a bunch of girls simultaneously; once I reached a certain point with Yukari, the game told me she'd get super-pissed if I tried to go out with anyone else, so I never tried to.
Yeah, its just part of each girl's social link. In P4 you can thankfully choose wether you want to date them or just stay friends.
However, dont be worried about those girls getting pisses. Once you finnish their social link, they dont care if you then date another girl. Just make sure you finnish the current girl's social link first before moving onto the next one and you should be fine.

I just didn't do the others social links to the max, which is a shame -- The female story allows pursuing friendship paths.I didn't even know you could date a bunch of girls simultaneously; once I reached a certain point with Yukari, the game told me she'd get super-pissed if I tried to go out with anyone else, so I never tried to.
