Glad that P4/G had clear distinctions where you could clearly choose whether to initiate a romance or not. I still feel bad about just walking away from Yumi though, ha.

I'll assume you meant complete and I think that's rather subjective. Your gameplay affecting end goal is not to romance these women but to gain their loyalty. And you don't need the romance portion of conversations to do that. I'd consider someone loyal to me to be a companion, friend, etc. in a way. Romantic feelings aren't necessarily involved.

I know it's subjective but I feel some of the best dialogue is hidden underneath that romance banner. I just don't like the fact that the only way to continue talking to them on the ship is to initiate the romance.

That's what I always said about ME2. The part where romances stopped being fascinating optional content to provide growth for the characters. In retrospect, I didn't mind it too much in Persona 3. I just focused on one girl, then do the other social links on another playthrough. Golden did it a lot better overall.

Much as I would like Minako to be canon, there would be people throwing a storm if they retcon all the "Yu reminds me of him!" crap and have this show up(though I would approve)
If I recall -- Certain snippets of the story that was released to the public talked about time being messed up, what with Tartarus appearing, the Dark Hour, the Midnight Channel at the same time. I'm sure they can figure out a contrived way. Anyway, that's obviously not gonna happen because the bloke with the blue hair is teacher's pet so yeah. Suppose that'll do.
