Nocturnes trolololo negotiations are some of my most fondest memories.
"Do you eat demon meat?"
Uh, no?
"Sweet! Now I won't be a cannibal when I eat you!"
-Same demon, different battle-
"Do you eat demon meat?"
Yes?
*battle start*

Gamespot with the based god speculation
Persona 3, 4 & 5 take place in parallel universes at the same time.
Lol gamespot.
Oh gamespot you silly buggers
Parallel universes? Occurring at the same time? Did they play P4?
The 7 Deadly Sins thing is worth pointing out, though. I completely missed that.
Kevin Spacey to be P5 antagonist?
Did Gamespot even play the last four games?
You seriously think a big establishment like that would play a niche PS2/PS1 (well PSP I suppose) series? They're just jumping on the recent hype.
Parallel Universes? O_o I'd think the 4/11 starting date is just a legacy format for the series.

I posted them a few pages back with a few other that are considered "sins" in some religions like despair and void/hollow. Still not sure what role they will play but since they got showcased in the trailer they'll be of some importance. Really looking forward to seeing to what extent since sins can be used in countless different ways
Probably just Gamespot trying to look intelligent with speculation.

And just made themselves look like utter morons.
They don't care, it's all about page views and getting whatever ad money they can
AMG the 4/11 date is liek so significant gaiz. ^__^
Gamespot pls.
pls.
So if 'thievery' is a concept for how the plot is gonna roll, then I've sort come up with a thought that relates a bit to Chris Nolan's Inception. In that film, DiCaprio's character assembles a team of top professional robbers to literally implant an idea into the mind of a young businessman, through the usage of dreams, the so called Inception. I like to think that Persona 5 is gonna do something similar -- The dungeons are obviously still gonna take place within a realm of the collective unconciousness of mankind.. The TV World, the Labyrinths, Tartarus, Abyss of Time they are all part of it. Perhaps the goal here is to implant or rather save mankind from their own shackles by entering this world and defeat the Shadows of man that binds them.
Does this mean its gonna rain in the real world when someone has to pee while in that world?

Lol, Yosuke.. Anyway, the Collective Unconciousness is part of the major archetypes, like the Ego, and overall shapes the psyche of mand -- it constantly changes shape in accordance with man's suppressed feelings. But how this new dungeon world in P5 functions differently from previous ones is not certain yet.

I can absolutely see that happening. It does fit well within the idea of "setting oneself/others free"

This could be a likely scenario if Atlus keeps all the shenanigans to metaphorical representation. It'd be cool if things spill out into the real world a bit more though. That was kind of charming of Persona 3, shadows had a more immediate and apparent affect on the world.

Too bad said real world stuff was just a boss battles really. Train and hotel where waaay too short, and just made going back to the hell hole called Tartarus worse.
Famitsu will have some more details in regards to Persona 5 next week, folks. Stay tuned. They aren't quite finished yet according to Hashino, thus the reason why there was no release date announced at the concert.. ultimately this means of course a delay is imminent but that was also the case for Catherine. Now, when I say delay, I of course mean that it most likely won't be released during winter, but it definitely release both East and West this year.

Indeed. I hope Atlus had a few takeaways since Persona 3 & 4 on how important varied battle areas are. To be honest, they only need to look at the more varied locales of Shin Megami Tensei for ideas on that front.

As long as we get a date at some point I'm good. Waiting has never been any issue for me and it's a billion times easier when I know the "end" of my waiting. Not knowing is quite the nuisance
I just want more details on the demons and heists. Not saying I want ALL the details, but just some info along with the total number of companions we'll have would be nice.
Shadows, damnit! Also we don't really know enough to consider whether there'll be actual heist missions.
Should I find it hard to believe that Gamespot doesn't have a single person familiar with the Persona series or couldn't even do a quick research?
