Yes, I'd say so. There really isn't THAT MUCH you'll be missing out on with the ordinary version. So I take it getting just the regular Persona 4 on PSN is just as acceptable?
Thanks for the link. I'll get to it later.

Noooooooo.
Go for Golden. Unless you really don't feel like getting a vita.
That was the intention yes, though I got confused with Chris' comment. Might buy a Vita and Golden tomorrow, if I head to the city.

Seriously though, buying a vita isn't cheap and since you were also planning to get a 3ds for Fire Emblem.
I personally bought a Vita for Golden though, and never regretted it, it also allowed me to play Vita and old psp games.
Fate/Extra for example is a fun game you can then play. which is alot like Persona ![]()

Thing is, in all honesty, when you're done with Persona 4, you'll most likely not touch that console again. Buying Persona 4 on the PS2 is enough to experience the game's excellent story, and you can watch all the useless filler Golden adds on Youtube or something. That was the intention yes, though I got confused with Chris' comment. Far as I know, Atlus have been doing some discounts of the game on PSN.
You can take this from someone who actually played both versions of the game.

I'd say yes honestly, the new additions are nice but the original vanilla version certainly doesn't lack much by not having them.
I personally find the two added social links to be too spoilery and part of the fun of that game is trying to figure out the mystery yourself. Golden felt like it's holding the players hand a bit too much at times. I appreciate the extra features in golden but I'm glad I played the original first.

Hey I bought a PS TV specifically for the Valentines day event. I know I have a problem ![]()
In all seriousness though Golden is great but P4 was pretty great on it's own beforehand anyways.

Gonna flip a coin.
Heads.
Ok, Vita version it is.
EDIT: Also Isi mentioned Zero Escape, so at least another game I can get at the same time.

Golden's diminished difficulty and occasionally irritating filler BS like the band scene, or Marie, irritated me, but it did add a lot of new stuff which felt worthy of a new play through. That I still do believe, yes.
My favorite addition is being able to go out on evenings and Adachi's Social link
But all of it can easily be viewed on Youtube.
So, unless you're not certain that you're actually gonna use that Vita for anything beyond Persona 4, then the vanilla version is just as good. It's got the best Teddie voice too, yo!

Looks like it's decided then. In that case, get the Sly Collection as well.
I'm a bad person for not having done this yet

The backwards compatibility for PSONE games is nice too, however, it would have been better with PS2 games since it has a stronger line up of games. If you're dirty yank, however, you won't get to enjoy Crash Bandicoot and Spyro like us privilegded people in Europe. :IRah takes order from somebody? Well now, this sure is an amusing revelation.
