It adds in everything from Golden -- So I'd argue that's a lot of stuff it adds, which is awesome. The anime is remade with a completely new artstyle that looks gorgeous -- though it has to given that it's done by the same studio responsible for the cutscenes in Persona 4.

 

Hopefully this will result in a dub too, with Troy Baker all the way, and hopefully Naoto's game voice actress too. I also sincerely hope they do better justice to Kanji's character this time. He was pretty terrible in the original.

I sure hope the Golden anime is what Brotherhood was to Fullmetal Alchemist, giving it different story paths and following the source material more.

Atlus is most likely gonna make it digital only in Europe because sadly, we are non-existant. I'm getting a bit upset with them.

Well at least SMT 4 localization was finally given a date.

SMT4 isn't that good as far as I've heard. The important part here is that without the choice of physical hard copies -- I'm in the long term renting the game as opposed to actually owning it.

My view on digital only remains the same as ever that it's better than nothing. Many JRPG's are doing this lately.

Personally I feel I deserve equal amount of treatment as a customer on the same level as the North Americans. I could bend over and receive the long stiffy of Atlus, but I think of Atlus the same I think of any other game developer. Just that. Another game company. They are not my friends, they are not here to help satisfy my needs, they want to sell games, and when I feel like I've been cheated out of something then I'd like to voice it. Just like I would in the supermarkets or CD stores I shop. Perfectly natural.
