I f*cking hate Persona 4. I hope it dies a sudden death when Persona 5 is released. Which hopefully has no connection to any person, place, or thing within its specific universe. Did we really need a The Golden anime? Why are they in love with this specific game so much?

Persona 3 has more products then P4 and will have three movies, but hey be my guest.

You know, I find it funny majority of people whine about P4 being milked but don't give two craps about P3 being milked and having far more products then P4 will ever have.

 

And before anyone even thinks it, I don't support the crappy dancing game, anyone who knows me knows I only talk about the three big upcoming Persona titles, not four.

Or the rather irritating comparisons to Square Enix despite the fact that Square Enix is on such a low that no one can possibly best them - Especially not in the department of unecessary sequels or constant side-story additions, to expand an already confusing plot to even more extreme lengths of zany (ala Kingdom Hearts). A new anime adaptation won't affect the current quality of the games, given it's not really Atlus' business as they are game developers, which in the long run is what matters most.

Because no one in Japan liked Persona 2 all that much otherwise we would have seen the remake of Eternal Punishment in the west by now

It's available in the US, last I recall. At least... if you own a PSP or PSVita and have stable Wi-fi.

Yes, the inferior Playstation 1 version, whereas the remake was never released because it didn't sell well enough in the East to warrant a localization.

You can not. NA and Europe only got the PSP remake of IS, not EP. The EP on the PSN is the crappy Playstation version that has the Revelation:Persona translation names for any characters from the first Persona game(since PSP did get Perosna translated properly with the real names and such, Revaltion:Persona is now completely non-canon) so because NA/EU EP uses those names, you have alot of issues.

 

There is however a group of people trying to do a fan translation of EP on the PSP, mostly for Tatsuyas new scenario.

I bought a vita just to play Persona 4: Golden and sold them both when i was done with it. Really looking forward to Persona 5 though at some point i need to rebuy a ps2 to play persona 3: Fes (never played any version of Persona 3 but i know the story)

I might have to re buy a ps2 someday so i could play Persona 3: FES because i never played any version of P3 even though i know the storyline.

If you have a PS3 you can buy Persona 3  FES on the PSN.

 

Just be warned that the gameplay in P3/FES is very...poor, imo. I found the gameplay in P2 and P4/Golden way better.
