Poor planner
It paid off in the end with a challenging boss. So I'm really an accidentally good planner. ![]()

Ok no one reads anything I put about games except for in this thread so far, so I'll ask this question.
If you had to pick one game from
Devil Survivor 1
Devil Survivor 2
Shin Megami Tensei IV
Persona 4 Golden (Assuming for the sake of argument prior P4 completion)
which would you recommend and why?
Devil Survivor 2, no question. Better gameplay, better story, better themes and 6 fantastic endings. Only thing P4/Golden has over it is the better cast(DS2s cast is dam god though) and ost because Shoji is part of the triad of game music gods.
You should still play Persona 4/Golden and the first DS though. As for SMTIV, while I do prefer it over Nocturne on a story basis, on a gameplay basis, you should skip SMTIV and play Nocturne and go True Demon path

Interesting, I was actually leaning towards Devil Survivor 2. Apparently some of the people who were behind Langrisser and Growlanser, which always seemed underrated, helped on those games. Guess that is the one I'd go for then.
Although I did forget to add Nocturne in there, I knew I was missing one.
Another good one is the Digital Devil sega series(1 and 2) and soul hackers.
How good are the Raidou games?

I've never played them sadly, I want too though. Only Devil Summoner games I played was soul hackers and read the plot of the first game since it ties into soul hackers and Persona 2.
Oh my. This is the best thing ever.
Warning: Looong comic and P3 spoilers.

I wish that was an option.

Yeah, I realized the Judge, Death and Fool bonds happen automatically in the game.
Bwhahahaha.
Ah, could never get into playing as Minato. Minako all the way!
I wonder if she will be free like Adachi and Marie.
Ah. Well I did expect DLC we would have to pay for eventually.
Hmmm. I'm certainly interested in trying out the first Persona, despite the horrible things people say about it. Mostly because the remastered PSP soundtrack is friggin' schweet.
That's because it iss Shoji Meguro as opposed to the original which was just tripe sandwiches awful.
Speaking of Meguro -- Can't wait to do battle in Ultimax with Light up the Fire in the Night.

Admittedly, this is probably the worst engrish in a Meguro song.
And the Persona Q battle theme is in Ultimax?
There are plenty of battle tracks in Q, but that one and others will be in Ultimax as DLC.
I sure hope I could buy Persona 2's Velvet theme. That was the best one.
Oh god, this is all compelling me to buy MS points. I haven't considered buying those dreaded things in a while.
There's no such thing as MS points anymore. You buy stuff with ya real monees now, yo.
The Velvet Room theme isn't really a compelling battle track, but it's good nonetheless.
Going to assume Margaret's trailer is next week.

Oh yeah. The last time I ever bought anything Xbox DLC related was back during Lair of the Shadow Broker.
And the velvet room can be awesome in battle. What was the music in the second half of this?
I've heard the track -- the slow pacing and quiet tone makes it an unappealing battle track for Arena. THis is why I think it's silly how Atlus is seemingly almost any track from Persona 4 & 3 now to Ultimax. It sounds like a remix of the one from Persona 2.

You mean Battle for Everyone's Souls or the second one? I don't think either of them are unfit for Arena.
I do think it's silly that they're trying to put this (Shadow Teddie's theme) in the game instead of making a new one.

Battle For Everyone's Souls? Who the hell said that was unfit? It was in the first game too.
It most likely will be Margaret's theme in Ultimax.
The other one don't come off as an appropriate battle track. Doesn't fit with a fast based fighting match and doesn't quite jam well.
That one is a remix of the Velvet Song from Persona 2.
