Saori's is kinda depressing. Sure, she gets a feel good moment at the end but it's all bittersweet. I was pretty mad when that hobag slapped her and we couldn't intervene.

She's definitely among the more interesting social links - The best, of course, will and always will be Akinari's. No question.

Just finished Akinari's SL! Good stuff. I did it in my original copy of P3 but it's so good.   

 

On another note, I never realised just how much new content there was for the FeMC playthrough. Have been sinking way too many hours into P3P, haha. 

 

The drawback (if you can call it that) is that I'd like to see the option present in future games. Sure, it's more work for them but it's more replayability for us!

For a game like Q they could pull the most absurd asspull in history but if it made Minako part of the game I'd be one really happy person

It would be even better if she was pulled from a reality where she and Shinji got their freak on. She runs and crash tackles him as soon as she sees him and he's all like 'woah wtf im badass wat r u doin'

 

P3P did a great job with Shinji. He's probably my favourite part of the FeMC playthrough (thus far at least).

The relationship with Yukari and Mitsuru is also very neat. Yukari feels closer to Minako. At one point near the end, there's a memorable little dialogue exchange between Mitsuru and Yukari, where they talk about their decision to fight, and how they have a certain someone in their group who doesn't give up, easily.They talk about what made or her special, carrying Death inside them for so long. If Male, Yukari will simply "He's an interesting guy, huh?" But if female she'll envy and synpathise with how strong she is and how cheerful she remains. It's an inspiration to her. Note the neat differences.

Haven't started the Mitsuru S Link yet (Academics aren't maxed out) but the Yukari one is pretty good thus far. 

 

Junpei's jealously felt a little weird this time around (for the week that it lasted, lol) but his S Link is decent enough but my least favourite out of the party (that I've done thus far). It has some heavier stuff than Fuuka's but Fuuka's felt like it jelled more with the FeMC. Minako just seems like someone who would be able to get Fuuka's confidence up.

Minako just feels more closer to her classmates and SEES then Minato for me.

True, Fuuka has a fun chemistry with her as well. It's hilarious in Shinji's link when she tries to help out. I love Junpei's link since it flushes out even more how interesting, and the struggles he has to endure with an abusive sad. Junpei's jealousy has always made sense in accordance with the sort of character he is - He wants to prove that there's something only he can do, to grant his life meaning and boost his own self-esteem.

Junpei at least tried to follow his dreams too. It might not be professional baseball player, but teaching little league is nice.

Might even bring him more joy and fullfillment in life too! He's really that kind of guy that should totally train kids

Yeah, Junpei's jealousy is consistent with his character but it just felt more natural with Minato who I think has a personality that might engender resentment. Minako on the other hand can form a S Link with him and is just much more chipper. It falls into line with his initially sexist outlook but I think it's just a pitfall of having his reaction be exactly the same regardless of gender or personality of the MC.
