I figured as much afterwards, I just thought that I'd get the opportunity to quickly finish Yukari's S Link but no bingo. Overestimated the amount of time I had left.

 

The party S.Links should have been accessible at nights though. Obviously some context would have to change but it's just amazing how many nights I had where I had jack all to do. 

Screw night, should have been able to do on the weekends like Persona 4. Though really it's possible to do all s-links in one pt and go to the summer movies with everyone and do plenty of sunday dates, you just need to plan(NG+ helps too). Good luck doing that with Minato though. Think Minakos schedule is tight, good lord. Minato has hardly any free time.

 

Because Minakos new social links replaced day ones and where put at night(besides Ryoji) it cleared up alot of free dates.

Which is why I can't complain too much since it's clear that Atlus learned their lesson after a fashion and made things more accessible. 

Although, party SLinks were a much bigger priority in 4/Golden given how tied they were to gameplay so maybe that's why more effort went into making them more completable.

Yeah, in Golden you have the neat opportunity of boosting your links at night. I always thought it was weird you couldn't go out at night in the original game.

 

Shinji and Ryoji's links are very strictly limited to a tight schedule.

More so if you want to romance Shinji since you need to make sure he has another social link day before the deadline.

Also I found out it's actually hard to romance Akihiko. If you don't get all the answers right then he'll say something that sounds like he's in a relationship but then a few ranks later.. he isn't. Oh well.

Rise's the only that isn't that good because it essentially rewinds the issues she had already gotten over with herself when her shadow was defeated.

Aki is the same guy who will pick a fight with Ken if you where crazy enough to romance them both. Even Junpei gets creeped out.

It's essentially just a collection of ovas. It's just the golden content (mostly) with a new spin on it.

How different is that from the regular anime, anyway? I haven't cared to watch it.

They're focusing on mostly the bonus Golden stuff and largely skimming over the main plot. Marie is the connecting thread of this version, and they added a few of the new group activities and Adachi's Social link as well. Reception is mixed though, basically if you can't stand the Marie focus you'll hate it. I don't think it's terrible but It's not quite up to par of the original. Certainly has it's moments though.
