While I'm not as upset as Chris, what does ****** me off is just how the anime team threw everything to a corner and decided to focus purly on Marie, even if it made no sense. This is not what Persona 4 Golden was about, yes she was a big part of the new content, but she had her own content, IT had their own content yet the anime team decided to force her everywhere, even Adachis plot(which really pisses me off)

 

The fact that the best episode was Christmas was sad. Why was it good? Because that's what part of Persona 4 was about, bounding with the team and hanging out(the other was the murder case which was also thrown aside for two episodes that where decent but had lots of issues)

 

Really though, nothing in the animation though came close to my anger about them getting their third tier(Yu getting Izanagi no Okami) FOR ****** MARIE. No. Hell no! Not only does this make no goddam sense at all, it's just horrible. The worse fact is they just super jump from the second tier like fast forwarded pokemon.

 

Seriously, while the first anime had it's issues and bad art, it still was about what made Persona 4 good and also had very good scenes like the shadow Yukiko fight, Kanji and his shadow(when he punches it and confronts it), kings game, Heaven and the Hospital. Only thing Golden did good was the two episodes with Adachi(which still have flaws) and Christmas(because of Naoto) everything else was just horrible.

 

The bonus episode has alot of potential, but knowing this anime series, just lol.

I thought the Golden anime was a dumb idea from the beginning and never bothered to watch it. While the original had its issues, it left me satisfied enough.
