I'm not saying it was. I was comparing the lack of the first Persona's protagonist and the use of the two Persona 3 protagonists in the video to Atlus seemingly wanting nothing to do with the first two Persona. As in, "Well, you can't expect a fan to care enough about the first Persona when Atlus wants nothing to do with it either."

 

The lack of the P1 protag in that video was because the creator couldn't find his render. I don't think there was any created for that game, lol.

No, Liz is objectively bad in Arena/Ultimax. Watch combative matches or talk to players who know the game and are pros at the mechanics and are some of the best players. They will tell you that Liz is the worse fighter.

 

Fighting games have a tier system for a reason, even players who are good with Liz have complained how crappy she is compared to the top tier characters like Yu, Yosuke, Yukari, Adachi, CHie, shadow Naoto, Yukiko,  Pershona ect. That's not to say you can't use her or if you do use her you will get floored all the time,  but Liz has far more disadvantages(and Ultimaxs buffs to her did not really help) to the point that no matter what, a Liz player will always be handicaped. because her move set is not the best, her persona can be broken easily, she can't zone well, she does not hit hard and which would be fine if she had Yosukes speed but she is also slow, she has less health(which does not work well with her poor zoning, and while Naoto has the lowest health pool, she has good zoning thus her health issue can be combated)  The list goes on.

 

Liz also has a very crappy DP, rivaling Laby.

Persona 2 has crappy characters too? You're ruining my future plans.

I don't remember mentioning Persona 2 characters,I do remember pointing out that the Persona 1 character is crappy like most of the game though.

Let us be honest with ourselves, all Persona characters are pretty terrible. I can't wait for the day that the series gets a character as deep and nuanced as Lightning.
