I could have done with less sequel baiting, honestly. I would have appreciated a more subtle cliffhanger.
Still, it was a pretty solid game although it felt short. I was expecting a second act, so to speak, after beating all the tribes but I suppose the sequel does fulfil that.
DDS 2 is your second arc.

I ended up just watching the cutscenes of DDS2 on YT because I don't have the time or energy to play through it, lol. I'm sure something is lost in doing so but I think I got the gist of it anyway. Nice Hinduism allusions all around if a bit dense to take on a first sitting.
Real world Serph was such a tool but I was expecting it from all the comments from DDS1 and the whole Two Princes story.
I half feel that Gale should have been the main character or at least he had an arc worthy of it. Cool stuff all around.

God I love games with decent status effects. Last (multi enemy) boss could have wiped me with 2-3 back-to-back Mabufula, but Panic worked like 100% of the time

I should listen to it some more but yeah it wasn't Marge bad from what I recall. Not liking that change either. What is it with voice actors not being able to reprise these roles? The Teddie change from P4 to Golden still hurts my soul.
New Marge does well with battle quotes in gameplay, it's just the story stuff that she does a very bad job with. Not as bad as Bryce as Theo. Good lord that small preview in Q just destroyed any lingering hope.
I don't get it -- It's clearly Travis, voicing Theo in Ultimax. Their scheduling must be weird.
It has to be a scheduling issue, because that is Travis in ultimax, there's no mistake. We've already heard Bryce's Theo in a Q preview and it sounds nothing like Theo where Theo in Ultimax sounds just like Theo.
