Well you could import the PS3 and I think the vita games since they are not region locked but the 3DS is. (Still mad about that nintendo)

Well, I've heard that the first Arena was region locked but let's not hope that's the case here.

Ugh this wait for a new Persona game is killing me...gotta milk the old franchise entries while they still can though, I guess.

Well at least it's been good milk so far -- I appreciated Golden & Arena. Don't know about this Dancing game though... lol

That it probably won't, but as for an American one -- Well, that will probably be more likely.

It is a sad time to be an Xbox 360 owner. Really sad  :(

Japan doesn't care about that stinky Ecksbaws -- In fact, Namco Bandai was forced to release Vesperia for that console exclusively with a very large sum of consolation money. Later on they released it to the PS3 anyway in Japan with a lot more story content... It sucks. I think the reason why they aren't bothering with the 360 on Persona 5 is the amount of extra copies they'd have to produce for it. In reality though, it won't sell on the Xbox quite as well. Of that I am sure.

Makes sense. Of course my best hopes were for not seeing it until 2016, so I'm moderately happy about this.

Lol game companies aren't that bad anymore. Are they?

Only casual protagonists like you aren't up on Atlus' release schedules. I called this.

Eh, Japanese release schedules iffy. That's why I called it a hope. Don't act like it hasn't happened before.

I'm not too sure on how publishing and porting work but I know the logic behind it. It makes sense that Atlus would cut a 360 edition seeing how niche they are and how relatively fewer gamers know about their games (P4 arena sold half as much on the 360 as opposed to the PS3)

I could settle for a port. If that doesn't happen (most likely) then whatever. It's a shame that the only exclusive that I'm remotely interested in on the PS3 is Ni No Kuni.

Persona 4 Arena wasn't released in Europe until last year -- Japanese developers still don't seem as favorable to Europe despite how many fans they have there. Would be great if Atlus could create a footholding in Europe very soon to make it all go quicker.

Not in recent memory. For things I know or care about anyway.

I don't pretend to know either, but the logic is that JRPGs relatively don't sell on the Xbox-- It's all about handheld devices/platforms, Vita, 3DS and Japanese manufactured home consoles. We simply need to look back at under appreciated gems like Lost Odyssey, Blue Dragon & Vesperia as examples that didn't succeed on the Xbox.

Well, yeah, that too. I believe that from Xbox 360 and onward, MS has always tried to appeal to the FPS crowd (which I was in when I first bought the console) with second place being tied between sports games and Western RPGs.

That's not far off from how long it took for Persona 4 to come to Europe: 8 months.

Only interested in P5. Screw dancing games and overly chibi characters :P (just my tastes)

And I hope P5 is closer to a mash of P2/P3. P4 was alright, don't get me wrong, and I liked a lot of the stuff it was going for, but I'm ready for a darker tone again.

I was wondering when a Persona 5 thread would pop up.  I'm a pretty new Persona fan, I finished P4G about a month ago, and I'm making my way through P3P.  I owned P4 Arena before then because I love Arc Sys fightning games, though I am pretty average at them.

I'm definitely looking forward to this.

I don't really care if they are chibi's or not.
