They found a major bug while polishing the Normandy and now they have pushed the release date onto the 10th of Feb. Its proberly very unlikely but you never know.

How would you feel?

Too be honest i would cry and proberly laugh at the same time while everyone post violent threads and posts all over the forums.

Whats scary is that it COULD happen...Splinter Cell conviction was slated to release 23rd of Feb and is now pushed back to April lol

Or an even better example of Alpha Protocol being pushed back to June just 2 weeks before its original release in October lol

I would be mildly unhappy to put it lightly! But i'd realise shortly afterwards that I'd rather play a complete game with no bugs later, than a buggy, flawed game sooner. If it happened, i'd accept it and continue to wait. I know it would be worth it.

Whilst not usually being one for superstition, *touches wood* not wanting to jinx it but I think we are well past that point now. If there is any bugs still in the game, it will now be a case of waiting till players find them and report them then a patch is thrown in to fix it.

Edit: @Lycidas mainland europe, don't think anyone in UK has reported it yet. Also as far as I am aware, isn't that supposed to be an 'artwork' issue for the CE books, nothing 'game breaking'

Actually, the delay for Alpha Protocol was announced *after* the original release date. There were alot of confused preorder customers trying to pick up their copy at Gamestop, only to find out it never shipped.

the sad thing is it might be delayed for me... well the shipping of it. Newegg hasn't processed my pre-order and usually they pass off my packages to a USPS station 5 miles from where I live that takes a week to deliver packages to my house... arggggghhh, what should I do?

That would explain a lot lol...I was just going by the date update on the Gamefly site....They actually update release dates faster than most stores do lol.  Which is why I took it off my game Q ....for now

Well it can't happen now that its GOLD and many retailers have already recieved their copies.

If it did happen, I'd probably shoot the messenger (you) and mount an assault on Bioware Headquarters.
