I always bring the people I think fit the situation best.
Let's talk Vivienne!

I might bring her when we deal with an Orlesian ball, or somewhere we need to play the Game.

This is freaking hilarious!
Ooooh no....
Vivienne: *cheerful* Dorian, darling! How ever did you get here before me? I hope you didn't sacrifice any precious hours of your toilette just to arrive so quickly. You need it, after all!
Dorian: *enthusiastically* Oh, my dearest Vivienne, of course not! One doesn't need to toil so long when dealing with a natural nobility like my own.
Vivienne: Careful, my dear! It's that kind of cockiness that can ruin a man. We wouldn't want someone of your stature to attend a function such as this in, say, moth-eaten, old-fashoned rags, now would we?
Dorian: *chuckles* Oh, not to worry, Madame. I've taken great precautions not to look like a great, clown-colored peacock. That would be simply tragic.
Vivienne: *smiles sweetly* What would be even more sad would be for one to show up here in some pompous, done-to-death outfit, don't you think?
Dorian: *smooths mustache* No more upsetting than coming to a ball wearing a headdress heavy enough to match one's falsely inflated ego.
Vivienne: *smile drops* ... You realize, my darling, what manner of battle you have begun here? You will not escape from it unscathed, I assure you.
Dorian: *smirks* Oh, I relish the very thought, my lovely Madame de Fer.
Inquisitor: *spectating* ... Uh, should I...?
Varric: Don't, Inquisitor. Just... just don't.

Oh, dear. That's one way to make my mini-dialogue Vivienne thread debut, I suppose... ^^

I think that I'm going to change team very often. Every companions seem interesting to me.
Agreed! I'm going to be hard pressed when choosing a team in Inquisition.
Often times in DA2 I'd restart missions with different setups just to hear their different remarks and conversations. Kirkwall babies

Aw, thanks! Writing ridiculous little scripts to characterize our future and possible companions is a very rewarding activity. And I do adore Vivienne tremendously~.

Mmm, I totally won't mind if she has a nice decollete.

Why not a bit of both?

Because I find it hard to want the circle standing without Templars but still be pro-chantry circle?
I think she's Pro-Circle like Wynne was

I've just been working under the assumption that Vivienne is pro-whatever-allows-her-to-keep-her-hard-earned-status-and-power. Whether that involves a reformed Circle backed by the Chantry or independent of it would, with this in mind, depend on how willing a reinstated Chantry would be to allow her the level of respect and freedom she has come to expect of her station. Looking at the current state of the Templars? I'm going to go with pro-Circle, Chantry not necessarily included.

So, no Chantry? I don't remember if Wynne was for the Templars being security or not.
Wynne didn't have a problem with Templar security, atleast in my playthrough

So you think Vivienne is pro-chantry circle.
I figured the same for her, but you never know. I've seen other people assume the adversary, though her being the opposite would make for interesting banter with her and my Dalish Inquisitor.

I wouldn't really say pro-chantry, she probably wants some changes to be done to the current system also but has a different way about it than starting a rebellion
But she obviously does have her own selfish reasons also

I think Vivienne is going to be pro-Vivienne, and ultimately for whatever keeps her at the top. I won't say she can't have sincere feelings that the Circle system is better, but first impressions for me is that she'd not stick with the Circle system if it meant abandoning her status and she might support the rebels if it seemed a better chance to keeping her status.
She might have her preferences, but I don't see them outweighing status.

Yes pls, no pro-chantry, or I am going to be a sad panda.

In the scene with the mage protagonist (after speaking with Aneirin), she encourages The Warden to return to the Circle to make it a better place; she's apparently in favor of reforms. In the City of Amaranthine, she says she opposes the Libertarians because all the mages will be killed if the vote passes. Maybe Vivienne is more like Finn in her view of the Circle...

Finn from Witch Hunt? If so, I can't remember what his view was.
(I also can't remember who Finn was so)

His like a very introvert person that doesn't want to interact with the outside world, gets tired fast, faints from seeing blood and burns on the sun easily and never tans. He loves the circle and never wants to take a step outside if it can be avoided.
