It's not any fashion i have ever seen from Orlais.

 

So i doubt i will need to get used to it ._.

 

It seems to be limited to the Disney Villain look alike.

I like Bioware's work on Vivienne, but I honesty wouldn't wear a similar outfit, hat included.
I'd be perfectly fine if I can have a decent hood for my mage.

There were concept of the PC (and old ones if Cass and GW in the customization concept) with hoods, so I hope they'll be in.

I'm a little scared for the movie (as well as excited obvsly) because one of my favorite things about her has always been that her motivation was pr much 'The party don't start til I walk in and you just tried to start without me'. Like Ursula, she's very Chaotic My Own Personal Amusement.

 

Spoiler alert: it turns out that while Sera does like drinking and candy, Vivienne is the main party beast of the Inquisition.

I really want to like Vivienne and I'm excited to meet her, but I can't help but have this nagging feeling in the back of my mind. She is a beautiful sorceress who delves into politics and wears a silly hat. I can't help it, but all I can think of is Sile de Tansarville and Phillipa Eilhart. Vivienne would fit perfectly in the Lodge of Sorceresses.

I was reading about Vivienne again and a thought came to mind.

Is Vivienne only Pro-Circle because she wants her seat as first enchanter? Does she care about how the circle is reformed?

I'd like to know your opinions.

 

I doubt it's the only reason.  She probably had to work her way up through the Circle to become first enchanter to begin with, which suggests more of a long-term commitment.  But I'm sure maintaining her high position adds to her motivation.  

 

She sounds like somebody who has very firm ideas about justice and order.  I'm interested to see whether that means she'll take order at any cost, or if she would want to create a new, different kind of order.

He might have mages' boots as well. I'm sure there are Tevinters and crazy mages who would stand against me .

I think she cares about the circle, it's just that she also cares about being a mage too. I'm willing to bet she wants the authority to help negotiate better lives for mages.

 

Vivienne has had it good. The finest clothes, food, an extravagant lifestyle. She probably has it as good as a noble.I'm sure she feels a duty to help her fellow mages.
