They really changed her eyes color?
It looks horrible , it looks like she has contact lenses
I'm just basing it on what I see in the same images that you see. Does it look like they changed her eye colour? It does to me. Will it stay that way? I don't know. But I like the look both ways too. They are different and convey different things to me when I look at them.
I prefer her with blue eyes actually.

It reminds me of Marilyn Manson , I thought she was under some spell and it was temporary.
I think this lacks subtlety , too much "this woman is cold , and calculating , look at her eyes and fear her."
I'd like to see Vivienne with the same half smirk and brown eyes !!!
While I like both direction like you Allan, I think I prefer brown eyes, because the blue eyes scream a bit too much " the frost queen. " If that is because that is the effect that Bioware wants to give, I can assure you that the blue eyes aren't necessary. Her glorious attitude is enough.
The brown eyes add also a lovely side to her gaze.
And brown eyes are better on ebony girls.

Not that I would scream racism but I may roll my eyes if the only black companion we have ever had turns up in game with bright blue eyes. I wouldn't think for a second that they would change that just to make her look prettier and more western (or whatever) but It just seems like an odd change to make, especially after we have seen so many images of her.
I'm still not convinced it's not just a mistake though like Cass's white hair.
There were a couple trailers played yesterday. It was only that one that showed her with blue eyes. Everything else we've seen shows her with brown eyes. While I do find the blue eyes rather striking, I think the brown eyes are a much better match. Hopefully like others have said the blue is either something to do with the trailer or something related to an ability or plot point.
Either way, I think she is an insanely beautiful character and I think while my inquisitor's personality (at least most of them), will clash with her left, right, and center, I look forward to seeing her in game. I actually really love what we've seen of her personality so far.

I think the blue thing has to do with some energy, magic. She probs did something in that scene.
Its not uncommon for dark skinned people to have green eyes or sometimes blue, but I get where people are coming from with prefering brown eyes for Viv.

I like the brown eyes the best. I mean, the blue eyes do give her a 'Storm' vibe, but given Viv was revealed initially with brown eyes, I prefer she keep her natural features.
The only thing I'd venture with the blue eyes is that its either magic or something in the story causes her eye color to change (possession, deal with a demon, hidden magic) that would be awesome. But if its a design change nah, not for it. Brown eyes look rather lovely on her natural beauty. Keep the blue eyes for another character.
I'd rather Viv be the other female LI (over Sera) but I gave up hope on that some time ago.

I kinda hope its not gonna be another "Tough exterior but underneath she is really gentle and soft" case. I rather wish her to remain the way she is and not just using it as a shield. We already got Cassandra as the Tsundere character.

I would actually love a romance with her that just consisted of Quizzy trying to prove to her that he/she was worth her time. I know not everyone would like that but different people have different personalities and not everyone should immediately want you just cause you are the PC.

I would like that as well. It would be alot more interesting than another case of "Defrost the Ice Queen to find her true self" imo.
That trope has been used waaaay too many times. Some people may still like it ofcourse, but I personally think the trope has become really boring.

Me not wanting her as an LI actually has nothing to do with my dislike for her personality. I just don't see her being an option.
