I think Viv is bisexual. Just a feeling. We'll see when they announce LI's.
Let's talk Vivienne!

Why couldn't Sera and Vivienne be reversed?
Why would I want them to be?
...nah, can't say it with a straight face. Don't really care about that, though at this rate I think I'm going to develop a perverse enjoyment of fan angst about their imaginary romance scenario being made invalid.

How delightfully clever and original of you.
I'm a strong independent poster who don't need no quotes!

I honestly thought Viv would be the classic Bioware girly lesbian, but then I realized something: all the truly girly ones are bi. Look at Liara and Leliana, for example. That may be silly logic, but it's not necessarily wrong.

This may be a silly question, but I'm wondering why does Vivienne have blue eyes in the " Lead them or Fall trailer" while having brown/orange in the rest of what we've seen of her.
While I do think the blue eyes look lovely and unique, i really think the brown/orange eye color looks better.
Either way, why is this so?Is it dated/newer footage before/after her eye color has been changed, is she wearing eye lenses for fashion purposes or what else is the reason for the different eye color?
Anyways, I'm curious to know the answer.

I'm really looking forward to the game and so far Vivienne is my favourite of the newly revealed companions. I tend to go mage heavy so she'll fit right in. Was amazed by her design and character model, fantastic job Bioware!

Some say the changes has to do with magic use of some kind.
Or they changed her eyes from brown -> blue/grey at some point.

IDK

They haven't really had any lesbian characters in the past.

That's what my gut is telling me as well. Looking back at Bioware's track record, the Alladin-type women - tough exterior, emotional barriers, fragile on the inside - tend to be straight. Morrigan, Ashley, Jack, Miranda, Tali. (a very literal barrier there) Cassandra fits the list.
Meanwhile, the less stuck-up, accessable, girly, socially proficient ones such as Isabela, Leliana, Traynor and now Sera tend to be bi or gay.
Of course, this would be a perfect moment to turn it all upside down, but in case of Vivienne, I don't think so. I will be really surprised if she's not available to both genders.

I have a feeling Vivienne will be straight and Cassandra will be bi/lesbian.

So has anybody gotten a look at Viv's character interview. A lot of the same old info, but there's one interesting piece of info. Apparently she throws a party for the Inquisition, and that's how we meet her.

This is only slightly on topic, but I hope we get to see "The Game" presented well, especially with Viv. It hasn't really been done much. Leliana had her secrets and such, but she'd open up from friendship. Not from how you maneuvered socially. And the party in MotA was mostly funny. Not a puzzle or maze of interactions.
edit: I'm not sure if it's even possible to write something so complex, but if it can, it'd be great.

I'll be taking Viv and Varric with me anytime a situation calls for someone who can play the game. My dwarf inquisitor's probably gonna be a bit too open to play it properly.

I think I love her even more than before. Throws a party for the inquisition, rip people apart with words, and does whatever it takes to stop the real danger. I hope she likes a sarcastic dwarf, but I feel that the only time we will clash is … when I choose to support Gaspard instead of Celene, maybe I can make her see reason. But, in no way I am going to change my vision just to get the approval of companions, no matter how much I like them, I will stay true to my character and myself.

[MK]: She takes great pride in her work, and her interactions with a certain unnamed Inquisition mage can be a little… explosive. In a good way. Mostly.
Now we all know who that other mage might be ... could it be Morgan? I think so since Morrigan serves as the Arcane adviser, and is also against the circle.

Maybe so.
Speaking of which, I wonder how Morrigan of all people managed to manuever in Orlais. She has no tact. Proudly so.

Just read her character profile on the official website and interview with her writer Mary Kirby, we meet her in a party apparently. I hope she is a romance. Can't wait for this game.

It said Inquisition mage and Morrigan doesn't appear to be part of the Inquisition at all. So I guess it's Dorian or Solas, Dorian is a magister so that could be the reason but I feel like it could be Solas

Solas th apostate or Dorian the magister? I wonder.

Umm, not confirmed but there is a civil war going on and it seems very likely that we will at least meat Celene. I am sure we can at least support one or neither of them even if we aren't the one who solves that conflict.

Indeed. Seem to have forgotten about the war, although in my mind I thought Gaspard ran off. but you are right.
