I have a feeling Vivienne will be straight and Cassandra will be bi/lesbian.
Bi, probably but lesbian? Nope, we already have Sera as the lesbian one.

Corrected, maybe not Morrigan. So that leaves Solas, Dorian and maybe Anders?
So has anybody gotten a look at Viv's character interview. A lot of the same old info, but there's one interesting piece of info. Apparently she throws a party for the Inquisition, and that's how we meet her.
aw she's so nice ![]()
Anders?
lolno
Off topic ... how can one support Gaspard. Please enlighten me I seem to be missing something, and yes i read the book
Well, you have to think of the long term goal. Celene may be good for the people for a time, but with all her backstabbing and manipulating people, it's going to evidently be her downfall. Gaspard is strong, honorable, and hold a great amount of power. He isn't afraid to show others how he truly feels, and when he killed Lord Ramcha for going against his word, ( I think that is how you spell his name) that's truly when I started to respect him as person and a leader. I'm person of loyalty, and that's how my dwarf is going to be also. Gaspard will takes Orlais far, playing in The Game and his dedicated leadership during war.

I wonder if the ballroom scene we saw in the trailer was actually this party.

I'm really not fond of the word "honor" as shown in TME allot of his honor is mostly for show anyway and he wants to go to war. ![]()

I'd rather with the elves than Gaspard or Celene.
But that's probably off topic.

Was thinking about the same thing too.
According to the letter to the ambassador, the party will be at the Dukes summer estate, but the party in the video (loc 1:28) looks like the winter palace in Halamshiral, unless both locations are the same or the letter was referring to another party.

There's supposed to be an assassin at that party.
I thought you were going to stop him/her?

Yes. http://www.dragonage...ook-halamshiral
That example letter was just ![]()
If she's throwing a party for the Inquisition then we probably can't recruit her until later in the game when we have more power. Still, it sound interesting. I'm looking forward to mingling at this party.
I think Vivienne's party might be different from the one already known. The latter was stated to be about the OCW and a possible armistice; The one Vivienne is throwign seems to be for the inquisiton.
maybe we can...
..dance with her?
yes plz

I'm looking forward to elves crashing the party, like that hit scene in Godfather III

I wouldn't be surprised if that would happen. Getting to know each other during the dance always happens in movies ![]()
This is only slightly on topic, but I hope we get to see "The Game" presented well, especially with Viv. It hasn't really been done much. Leliana had her secrets and such, but she'd open up from friendship. Not from how you maneuvered socially. And the party in MotA was mostly funny. Not a puzzle or maze of interactions.
edit: I'm not sure if it's even possible to write something so complex, but if it can, it'd be great.
It can, Alpha Protocol did it.
'Course, if that's gonna happen, my Inquisitor and Vivienne are gonna have some issues.

Really? I own it, but it's been sitting on my shelf...in shrinkwrap. I should get to it.

I was thinking it would be earlier.
She hear's the Inquisition is forming up and wants in on it ASAP.

You really should. It's all about 'The Game', and how you wanna play it. You can be everything from an honest guy to a magnificent bastard. Also, there's no morality meter so how you play is up to you.
Be warned, though: it is a buggy game.

But she doesn't want to appear like she's begging to join. Hence the party.
By having a mage throw a party that'll be attended by the rich and important demonstrates her standing in the society. Being treated with respect by those she invited demonstrates her political power and importance in the Game.
Pull all that off and there's a good chance that a fast rising organization like the Inquisition will see Vivienne as a important asset and ask her to join them, which, depending on Inquisition's reputation, may further enhance Vivienne's prestige in Orlesian court.

Oops.. I accidentally liked your post, but meant to do the one above you ![]()
But I'll reply anyways. Does no one think things are going to be disastrous here? Look at all that glass. It's meant to be destroyed ![]()

Depends who you bring along I suppose.
The Iron Bull: things will be broken.
"I know you are only seventy-third in line for the Nevarran throne, but that is hardly so lowly a position as to relegate you to trailing after Comtesse Montbelliard in the hope that she might give your suit a moment's thought. She won't, my dear. She only likes men with self-respect. Perhaps you might sober up and acquire some?"
Lmfao, I loooooove her! My queen, tbh.
