Well you... you buy her more hats. I would think that would be obvious.I think she will be serious, and pretty fun, sarcastic. I wonder how she will takes the compliments.
I was really disappointed that in the EA demo, we couldn't even have some lines from her, as it happened between Iron Bull and Sera. I badly want to hear her voice and how she interacts with other folks.
I can see what would please Sera and Cassandra, with my actions and decisions. So what do you think would make happy Vivienne from what we know so far ?
I suppose telling her how awesome she is to begin with ? Or does she consider it normal to say that and it doesn't affect her ?
Let's talk Vivienne!

It's not dragon age origins anymore.... You won't win any point offering some gifts to anyone in DA:I.

Screwing the lower class.
By this, I mean similar to Morrigan or Sten in DAO.

It's likely that she won't care, neutral at best when it isn't dangerous for the inquisition. I'm not sure she would disapprove every single time you want to save a child, a woman, or some folks, like it happened with Morrigan. If screwing the lower class has a meaning for the greater good, can help much more the inquisition at one point, then, I suppose that yes,she could respect your decision ?
I suppose she won't get along with Sera.

I am interested to fin out what Vivienne's views actually are other than being pro-cirlce and the political/survival stuff. I thought she might be the pragmatic companion but in the pax demo Cassandra seemed more pragmatic when she defended the Inquisitors choice to defend the keep over the village. I guess that doesn't mean she wont be pragmatic too though.

She must be pragmatic in someway. Very few people in politics get to high positions like she has if their not. Especially considering she's mage and not of any noble blood.

Hmmm, yes you're right, I misspoke. Still from her character profile it sounds like it was incredibly difficult to get to where she is (mostly because she mage,) and that probably required a fair amount of pragmatism on her part.

Oh I am sure she is pragmatic in some ways but I am just wondering what her angle will be as a companion. I guess she could still be pragmatic though.

She is fugly as hell ! period ! I find most companions in DA3 are not very appealing, but Viienne is the worst.
I don't think I will ever use her until I or someone else can modify her appearance.

I see what you are trying to do,you may want to lead this into racial problems, but No ! That's not what I mean.
No,I think she is ugly because her face is ugly ! Not her skin tone !
Black people such as Beyonce or Halle Berry are people that I consider beautiful, but Whoopi Goldberg is not ! And Vivienne somehow reminds me a lot about Whoopi Goldberg.

First, learn how to spell her name, when it's right in front of you. Second, I don't know why you would avoid someone, because you don't find them appealing. I may not know how you look, but I know that your personality make you one ugly person, so I think you should modify your opinion more constructive.

I wouldn't mind if Vivienne were the 'evil' companion who suggests you avoid the paladin route, approves of ruthless actions, or suggests you place the needs of the Inquisition/yourself over that of others. As long as she does so in an intelligent manner, it wouldn't bother me... though I'd end up ignoring her and pissing her off.

What's wrong with her appearance? Why does her physical appearance matter soo much.
Also, not that I wanna fan the flames of a racism argument but Beyonce and Halle Berry are bot on the light side and they both have kinda western looking facial features too. Whoopi is Darker and has more African features (and yes i know not everyone in Africa looks the same). Whoopi doesn't really look like a model but I would certainly not call her "ugly" and anyway, she's not exactly a young woman. Vivienne (as in her in game design) doesn't look much like her either other than they are both darker than Halle and Bey and they both look a bit more African.

Well, given how many people were gushing about her being beautiful, it apparently matters some. I'm also not sure if tastes in physical appearance can really be considered racism in any case, unless you also see other races as inferior/just plain dislike them in general.

I think it's different. Sure we love Vivienne's design but if she didn't look like she does I wouldn't just banish her from my party. It really doesn't matter all that much it's just nice to compliment Bioware and their character.

Well, that bodes ill. Since she certainly doesn't seem to be the opposite of Morrigan in general niceness or lack thereof, it sounds like she's intent on preserving her vision of order and control, and sees freedom as meaningless.

I think their goals and archetypes are opposites. Morrian seems to be an agent of change / chaos while Vivienne will probably work toward the status-quo and order. My guess is that Morrigan belong to the Rebel (outlaw) archetype while Vivienne could be a Ruler.

Yup, I think being opposite to Morrigan was intended about their goals and views (they still have a similar view on survival being most important, and emotions being irrelevant for someone with that goal).Well, that bodes ill. Since she certainly doesn't seem to be the opposite of Morrigan in general niceness or lack thereof, it sounds like she's intent on preserving her vision of order and control, and sees freedom as meaningless.
It was already known though, due to her pro-Circle and how she was described, though the comparison lead me to believe that there'll be confrontations between the two.
