I wish I could like that more than once!

No, pls. She can leave everything else on, just take off that hat!
Oh, joy, more companions whom I should probably be engaging in death duels.
Gah.. you really want to peacefully negotiate the use of blood magic? Good luck with that. Seriously, just forget about the mundanes and join us! We will practice all the magic and they won't dare to say a word.
No, pls. She can leave everything else on, just take off that hat!
Wrong priority.

I went on this venture for a reason, and I can't just abandon it now.

that begs the question...
what hairstyle is she sporting?
long, short, curly, straight, crisp, smooth, bald, we need to know ![]()
*remembers leliana's conversation about ornate orlesian hairstyles and live birds*
on second thought...keep the hat.

Nah, that's not the Libertarian stance. It's the Magister stance.Stupid Libertarians

I'm really looking forward to seeing Vivienne in-game. Not just because she seems very different to the companions and mages we've come across so far, but also because that outfit is actually growing on me. I usually don't like the low-cut collar look (I'm looking at you, Ashley) on women, but...Vivienne makes it look good. And I hope the demo voice was just a filler and her accent is more French/Orlesian like Leliana's was, because I love well-done French accents (especially on LIs, hinthint). ![]()
She is allergic to Fereldan fashions. And there's nothing she dreads getting as a Wintersend present because she arranges for those privileged enough to see her for the holidays to select gifts for her from an approved list. Also her shoes are an amazing array of gold-encrusted boots made from rare animals, and possibly the skins of one or two of her political rivals.
I can already tell I'm going to love this woman...
Bah, I prefer people who have a sense of humility from time to time, so in all honesty I might not enjoy her that much. This is absolutely fine however as stroking personalities may very well give a great result in the end, I'll just wait and see.
Really hoping I'll like Vivienne. I haven't really liked any mage companions (or regular NPCs...), except maybe Wynne. Too early to really tell on her personality, so not really gonna judge 'till later.
Though I want her boots. Like, bad.
For if Vivienne is a Lucrosian!

Isn't that assumption kinda of wrong, I mean that she is Rivaini. You are assuming that color of skin as anything to do with the place you live, like it is a rule.
Not necessarily.
I think it is just a case of people assuming that in the Dragon Age universe, skin color is an inherited genetic trait just like it is in the real world. So far the Rivaini are the only culture mentioned in the lore who have skin tones that range from "tan to ebony."
I think because of that people are also assuming that Vivienne has some Rivaini ancestry, regardless of whether or not she was born in Rivain. Whether or not that proves to be correct, I think it is a reasonable assumption given the lore.
Nah, that's not the Libertarian stance. It's the Magister stance.
Can't it be Libertarian as well? I mean, the statement was all about practising every kinds of magic freely and not worrying about those other people. Sounds kind of like the Resolutionists to me (i.e. Libertarian subgroup).

Freedom of practicing mages can be part of Libertarian's stances. The 'they won't dare say a word' part of Kain's post is an obvious hint of mages being in a position of supremacy.
Yeah, sure, though I automatically assumed a Fraternity-standpoint was in order considering this had been the main subject of this topic for the last few pages. And how come freedom of magical practics can't be part of Libertarian or just Resolutionist stances? I mean, all they want (basically) is to be free from Chantry involvement.

Freedom of magical practices can be part of Libertarians' stance. That's what I said in my previous post.
And I asked:
"How so?"
Because the Libertarians want to be free and not be restrained in using magic. And I asked:

So freedom of practising magic is contradicting that? I'm sorry, I am getting a little confused here.
I'm actually confused as well. I'll to explain what I meant. So freedom of practising magic is contradicting that? I'm sorry, I am getting a little confused here.

My point is that Libertians believe that mages should be free and free to use magic. Kain's post doesn't rapresent a Libertarian stance because he believes in mage supremacy, which isn't generally part of the Libertarians beliefs.
Oh. Well I was more or less focusing on the part of Kain's post that said:
Gah.. you really want to peacefully negotiate the use of blood magic? Good luck with that. Seriously, just forget about the mundanes and join us! We will practice all the magic.
Up to this point his post could be counted as Libertarian. But he finished with 'and they won't dare say a word'. That implies that mages are in position of power over the non-mages.Oh. Well I was more or less focusing on the part of Kain's post that said:

Or Resolutionist, which kind of seems closest to Magister like you said. Yeah, could be that as well.
