Also, a quick touch on the improvement in graphics. Look at her hat? This game is going to be stunning.

She has a perfect profile too. Her face is amazing from all angles.

I really like her with blue eyes, I think it's quite striking. I wonder which color they will be in the game.

I really like the blue. It reminds me of Storm, who is probably one of my favorite X-Men.

I prefer Vivienne with brown eyes. But I already explained why.  :) ( And It think it will remain that way )

Vivienne is an ice queen, yes, but Iet's remain a bit subtle with the design. With the brown eyes, she seems more human and natural. The blue eyes scream a bit too much  " I'm a witch , I'm powerful ' in my opinion. But it's true that it is very striking.

We know that Gwendoline Christie is going to voice a character in Dragon age. Many are thinking about the female inquisitor. But I think it is very likely that she's voicing Vivienne. During the E3 demo, Vivienne screamed several times. Her cries during the battle were very similar to those of Brienne of Thorth to be honest.

She won't be doing the female Inquisitor so Vivienne would be my guess.

Yeah, Alix is the British VA for the female, and GC is British, not American. So my guess is Viv, particularly with that "Horns up" comment from Weekes.

I wonder if they'll be releasing a character profile on her soon? I'd really love an interview with her voice actress like they did for Iron Bull and Freddie Prince Jr.

I bet they will if Gwendoline Christie is voicing her.

Hopefully they do that for all characters. So far there was the Iron Bull one and the Varric/Morrigan one.

People still think she might voice a female Qunari because of the #Hornsup after the tweet

Have you guys seen this yet?  I went back about 20 pages or so and didn't see it.

From the queen herself:

dai___smooch_series_with_vivienne_by_aim

"Thank you for believing in me."

"I merely coaxed out what was already within, Inquisitor. Now, remember; If you see so much as a twitch on their lips, slay them with what I’ve taught you.”

that would be aimo, for those of you poor, deprived individuals who don't recognize the art ;)

Wait, isn't that a dwarf? How could a dwarf use what Vivienne has to teach? Or is it not magic?

Anyway, if my hypothesis about companions having loyalty confrontations over big issues is correct... do you think Vivienne will clash with Sera over what to do with Orlais?

It's about 'The Game' I would say.

If the dwarven protagonist is from the surface, Vivienne could have assisted in dealing with the royal court, given the Game that the nobles play in Orlais. Slay them - metaphorically speaking.

Anyway, if my hypothesis about companions having loyalty confrontations over big issues is correct... do you think Vivienne will clash with Sera over what to do with Orlais?

Possibly. It depends on what Sera wants. I expect everyone to disagree with my Dalish Inquisitor on what to do about the Dales, after all.

Did I just read in her character profile that her way to join the Inquisition is throwing a party for them? In hindsight, sounds pretty logical for her (Orlesian party! Orlesian party! Orlesian party!), but I'm so dense I didn't notice it before. Can't wait to see how it develops.

Now that I think about it, the Vivienne we see today kinda looks like Brandy (r&b singer)

A party to court favor with the Inquisitor and the organization, perhaps? I suppose the protagonist wouldn't run into her until the player ventures into Orlais, then.

Then she could provide the necessary introduction about Orlais for those who play Dragon Age for the first time. She could also introduce the players to the civil war setting, especially since only a few will have read The Masked Empire.

For that to work Vivienne should appear not far from the beginning of the game, or at least be available near it. Not unlike Garrus, Mordin, Jack and Grunt in ME2; you could recruit them in any order you wanted, but they were available from the moment you got your mission against the Collectors and their recruitment was tied to plot progression, as in "you can't advance until you recruit them". I can see the same happening with Vivienne.

That begs the question: what did the Inquisition do to earn her attention? Maybe taking Skyhold and close the first Veil Tear (in a long series of closing tears)? That would provide a nice gatekeeping event.
