I don't know that Celene would have much choice but to let Morrigan mingle. A lack of visibility is extremely suspicious in itself and the nature of Orlesian politics means someone is bound to go snooping for answers. If they don't find anything on this strange mage that immediately outs Morrigan as an apostate. At least by feigning transparency from the get go (with Vivienne doing damage control where needed) they'd have a better chance of avoiding an outright scandal I would think. 

 

Edit: Just so we're clear, in this scenario, Vivienne would always be at Morrigan's  side until she got the hang of things. I have no doubt Morrigan could match the nobles insult for insult; it's just that she'd need to work out the intricacies of when (and with whom) certain barbs are appropriate.

Well technically they aren't in the same political arena but I suspect that their respective views on mage independence are what put them at odds with each other at some point.

I do wonder if the Inquisitor would ever appoint someone to be their own Arcane Advisor (esp if they aren't a mage).  Vivienne and Dorian would be up for that position, obviously, along with Solas.

 

It could be interesting if this element was added to the game...then there might be some fireworks.

That or simply the ability for companions to teach you unique skills based on your class and theirs. Both would be pretty awesome.

Maybe Leliana is our espionage adviser, Scribbles is the financial adviser, Cullen is the military adviser, and Morrigan is the arcane adviser.  We don't yet know what her purpose is.

 

I don't see Celene being very receptive to Dorian. Reputation-wise, she's already kind of taking a big risk with Morrigan. But in the event she did, yes that has interesting potential for Vivienne's relationship with Dorian.

I thought Kirby was talking about Solas but this makes allot more sense. I actually like the sound of their relationship, it's a shame I am playing a mage first tbh so I can't really have them both in my party all that much. I'll just have to bring them both along when I am wondering around not doing quests and maybe bring them both more with another character.

Morrigan is supposed to be Celene's Arcane Adviser and she's never been shown with the other advisers in screens or concept art.  

 

It's possible you could appoint Morrigan if Celene is out of a job.

It does change a lot, I really usually pick party members that I think would provide great banter, that's why Varric usually is in my list, and I'm really looking forward to having them both in my party.

Though I'm now not even sure if it's a love hate relationship both mages will have.

Seems like they are opposites in where they come from and what their political views are but they have similar personalities so there will be allot of cattiness between them. They kinda made it seem like they like each other underneath it all though. They are both upper class, both very fashionable and cultured and they both appear to think allot of themselves.
