I sincerely doubt she won't be an LI. She seems like the kind of person that is attracted to powerful people, and the inquisitor fits the bill. I imagine some races might have a harder time than others though.
Which races did you have in mind?

My female human mage and Vivienne will get along nicely. Between the two of us, we will end the conflict in no time.

Its purely speculation of course but I imagine Qunari aren't exactly known for their civility in Orlais. Although I'm sure the Qunari PC will change her mind.
Quite possibly, yes. Were you also thinking of elves?

True. I'd like this so much.
Yeah, I feel if they continue down the route of 2 LIs of each gender, the female LIs will be Cassandra and Sera. I would really like to romance her, she'd be perfect for when I came to my human mage, and she's number two on my list of dream LIs for Inquisition, (not that I'd actually say it to her face lest she stab me in my face).
Yeah that's what I fear. We already know that Cassandra is going to be an Li, since Gaider has admitted he is writting two romanceable characters :/
She might be put off a City Elf but a Dalish mage might actually intrigue her.Quite possibly, yes. Were you also thinking of elves?

I really really really want Cassandra and Vivienne as LIs, but hopefully they'll do 3 females and 3 males. I kind of imagine Cassandra as being like the Aveline type, either wanting someone else or no one at all. I'd prefer her to want me, but, you know ![]()
I really want to hear about the male LIs too!

She really does! I think she'll be a LI, idk, maybe it's just wishful thinking but I can't imagine her not being one. Could you imagine her romancing a Qunari Inquisitor? I doubt they would make it race-specific.
I hope Vivienne likes dwarves and elves romantically. ![]()
I never play a human.

Qunari. How do they work?

This whole Qunari thing makes me think of Sten's party banter with Morrigan about a human-Qunari 'intimate moment' from Origins.
Aye. Top dialogue in the game imo.

Board consensus is Sten was trolling Morrigan. (Maybe he wasn't, of course.)
BSN members definitely wonder if the sexual/reproductive compatibility issue for humans/qunari might see some clarification in the upcoming title. ![]()
Of course, then lore will be updated.

Time to get horny, then. ![]()
Qunari. How do they work?
I'm tempted to make a joke about Catherine the Great, but it could both be inappropriate and might not be gotten by many.
So I won't. ![]()
(If you're curious, and don't know her rep, the Wikipedia article on what is a Legend about her, contains what I'm referring to.)
Time to get horny, then.
"I will be the avaarad, you shall be the saarebas, kadan. The safe word is 'meravas'."
Probably as any other race.Qunari. How do they work?

No but I'm sure they will add some variety to the romances when it comes to races. Since romance triggers are very likey attached to the dual metric companion relationship system ( dislike-like / disagree-agree ), perhaps it is not so far fetched that a Non-human (hell perhaps a mundane too) inquisitor has to work harder on the relationship to overcome Viviennes biases.
I think that'd be a really great feature add. I wonder if they'll keep the rivalmance.

Rivarly is confirmed to not be in the game. The approval system is based on the one in DAO, but modified.
That's great news for me
I always preferred the Origins way.

Interesting.
So no longer can one emulate gangsters of the roarin' 20s and expect lawful good types to simply bend over and take it.
There aren't two meters, there's just one for approval.Yea each companion has two metrics: friendship and respect.
Being someone's close friend no longer directly correlates to them agreeing with what you do.
