The one thing that confused me is that Vivienne supposedly has a lisp, but I didn't hear it during the PAX Prime demo at all. Unless I'm going deaf?

 

I don't get that either.  I've heard it mentioned a couple times now but haven't a clue what it's being based on.  I'm only aware of two scenes that feature dialogue from Vivienne and...I'm sorry, what lisp?  

 

I wouldn't have an issue with her having one, and I think some people might actually appreciate that for various reasons, but I really don't see where it's coming from that she has one at all.

The thing that worries me about her Valentine's Day card was that she said 'You should be so lucky'. Makes me think she wouldn't want to romance someone so lowly. But I remain hopeful!

And I'm thinking she's either bald or hiding a third arm. Really hope if it is ever revealed, they don't pull a Tali and cleverly hide it with camera angles.

I really doubt that BioWare would turn such a thing into a running joke. So far, their running gags have been more breaking of the fourth wall or a funny event that seems to happen repeatedly across the series, like Sandal mysteriously dispatching bunches of powerful enemies at once.

I have no idea where the lisp idea came from. Vivienne does not have a lisp.

Ah and this is where my love for Bioware comes in. If she does happen to have the "I'm better than everyone" attitude, if Bioware allows us (just like they did with other character's in previous game's) we can tell her how much her attitude sucks and maybe she'll reevaluate herself. Kind of like hardening Alistair. We're not completely changing the character, we're just showing them a different light.

My assumption has always been that said "journalist" had merely misheard the demo footage. But then, not the first time non-facts have been reported as facts in that source.

 

So awesome that in this day and age of questionable journalism, the folks at the source will take the time to clear things up!! Yay BW devs! Can't wait to hear more of Vivienne's non-lisping sass.
