YAY!! You guys saw the Character Kit! I ran to this thread (even before tweeting it) as soon as I got out of my meeting to make sure you guys knew

What do you guys think about the details on her clothing and how that might speak to her character?
The part about wearing armor UNDER her fabulous clothing is interesting. It certainly speaks to her Iron Lady nickname. Walk mincingly and carry a powerful staff?
And perhaps she has a softer side to her that she neatly covers up with her dazzling awesomeness.
I don't know if I'll like her, but she looks great.
Is that the Seeker eye in the silk lining pattern?
It's the same pattern as the one in the Cassandra kit. Both cloth pattern are the same, just different colors.
My pet theory is that Vivienne is responsible for Cassandra's wardrobe...that would explain the hearts.

Vivienne is going to be the best companion ever omg BioWare ILY she's prolly going to be better than Cassandra holy run-on sentence Batman but OMG fabulous Orlesian fashion and beautiful face I'm so excited. *gasps*

I really like how fancy her outfit is while still not being totally impractical. It looks easy to maneuver in and the "hidden" breastplate looks perfect.

I suppose it's really an Inquisition symbol, but I love that tiny detail. Nicely done model designers/whoever did that!! That was one of my favorite things about the PAX demo.

Ooh, interesting. I thought the Inquisition symbol had the sword through it. But perhaps, given the circumstances, both could be considered symbols of the Inquisition.
I love her makeup
I love how unapologetic she is about the impracticality of her clothing. To her dignity and appearance are one in the same, so looking good is the same as maintaining her pride. Fans looking to replace her hat however...might have a few difficulties.
Actually I really hope they'll have it in the game that she'll make more of a fuss if you really try to change her clothes.

Do you think Vivienne and the Painter girl are the same, but redesigned character? I don't recall ever seeing them in any of the concept art together.

There are different appearances for her. Some have different hats, some have no hat...but I'm not sure which appearances will be available in the final game. So I won't promise no hat, but there are at least variations.

I quite like scribe girl, but Vivienne's extravagant design is just a bit too much for my tastes.

Given her position, something's telling me mid to late 30s, maybe. We're rarely ever given character ages, it seems.
We are not given ages, because BioWare doesn't like dates (aka they forget and end up making mistakes through different publications).
