Regardless, we have nine companions. It's normal that we might not like some of them (though so far I'm interested in all the companions announced/rumoured).

If you meant that she might be forced on the party in the earlier hours, I agree.Its too late by then. The point is you will be given 3 companions early game that are forced for some time.

As for Cullen, I don't get why it'd be 'a risk' (since you might be able to send him off if he's a companion).
I can't do that. I could never get rid of companions deliberately (the one exception was with the Loghain choice, and that was only because he'd die otherwise and Alistair leaves of his own accord).

I love her character kit. She is stunning and by her description, I think she will be a hoot!
I do find it slightly annoying they have annonced 2 females, and one male, who we already know. I do hope not all the male companions will be characters we know (Varric, Cullen, Cole etc).
That being said. Vivienne looks awesome. But I have a feeling I won´t like her personality. Or if she is like sarcastic arrogant, she will be fun! Im happy we have at least one brand new character confirmed!

So far all male humans introduced in concepts are better looking than Cullen. However looks are subjective so yeah...
Well, while I personally dislike snobby/arrogant people who think they are above the "ordinary folks" because of reasons, and find obsession with fashion and beauty always rather ridiculous (always those overly pompous Orlesians ... 
), I'm actually looking forward to meeting Vivienne in game. She does seem strong and complex enough to make for an interesting character and companion, agree with her or not.
(And at least her banter must be hilarious when it comes to attire and fashion, I imagine ...)

Act 1 is more than a few hours and you must be a dick to dismiss Anders as none of diplomatic or sarcastic dialogues lead to dismissal conversation. Only aggressive ones lead to that certain conversation. Besides its in middle of act 2 so some more hours are spent in act 2 as well. Its all in opposed to DAO where you can walk up to people and tell them get lost. Also I don't remember so please enlighten me, didn't Ella had to die for that conversation to appear?

It's the first time I read that Anders can leave personally...
I just loaded a savegame. Ella has to die otherwise Anders won't leave. First you have to chose an option which says "you killed that girl!" If Ella is alive this option will not appear and the chain dialogue needed to dismiss Anders won't appear either. Also he is not leaving Kirkwall you can find him in his Clinic. He won't be companion anymore.

I'm looking forward to seeing the casting animation for Vivienne in that outfit. 
I do prefer the gold though. It compliments her, highlights her finer features and looks nice. Those lips...wow. I love the understated yet effective makeup on her. It looks elegant and practical.
I think Bioware devs confirmed that Varric can be equipped with daggers.

Yeah, I just did some digging and I saw no evidence of this. However, I wouldn't change his weapon anyhow. Too iconic for one and for the other, I have no idea how the specialization tree is going to work out. If equipping daggers gimps my buddy's DPS, I'll just stick with Bianca.

Is it evil that I would love to pry Bianca out of Varric's hands, at least just once, and force him to dual wield daggers?

Personally, I also prefer the golden outfit. A mage should be comfortable and at ease in its movements, when he uses magic... Aaand as a male, I do find the first outfit a bit sexier !
