Between her and the elf guy, I'm seriously considering going through my Dwarven warrior plaything first. If only to hear their banter and use them as testing kits for my future inquisitor mages.
I'm hoping we'll get character reveal trailers like we did for origins.
I remember seeing in Wynnes her healing a lot and blasting lightning left right and centre.
I built mine accordingly and was delighted to see that she's uses similar magics in the novel Asunder.

 

What was it about the enigmatic elven companion and Vivienne that leans you towards a Dwarven Inquisitor? A unique perspective in contrast to Vivienne's Orlesian fashions and cultural perspective? I still remember the Dwarven Noble Origin; it was really fun.

When it comes to courtly intrigue the Dwarven Assembly and the Orlesian Court are pretty similar. If the dwarven Inquisitor turns out to be from House Cadash then he/she really has nothing more than a title. Cadash Thaig had a good number of its soldiers turned into golems only to have their home fall to the Darkspawn anyway.

Well the Kal-sharok dwarves cause it to fall and then it became home to the Darkspawns! Well they also would have the Inquisitor title, which should be very helpful. But yea Vivi!!

2 reasons.

#1. Gameplay.
To use the companions as test subjects to discover which spells are the best and I feel would best suit me as a Mage inquisitor. Also, I've never really played as warriors before and the enchanted sword looks awesomesauce.
#2. Party banter.
With what we know of the lovely Vivienne, and the vibe I get from the elf, I believe there could be a great clash in opinions of magic and how it should be used. Of course said vibe is most likely being influenced by the elven character in The masked Empire.....

However I must admit, I'm fairly certain that it'll be a first or second character.
I've been waiting and wishing for all these years for opportunity to play as a Dalish Mage and finally, my wish is being granted.
Still, am looking forward to the backgrounds of the human and vashoth magi.

I roll dwarven characters out of tradition. My first D&D character was Axebeard Beardaxe, dwarven barbarian and I make an expy of him whenever a game gives me the chance. 

 

As for our bald elf friend, Maevrais Tilani said that she's heard rumors of an exiled Magister somewhere in the Anderfels who figured out how to restore life by grafting a spirit to a physical being. Vivienne's our destructo-mage, so it's possible that our healer might be that guy.

Sooo, if Vivienne is in the Imperial court, and all that, I wonder how her and Morrigan get along? Didn't Morrigan "insinuate herself" into the Imperial court, too?

From what i understand the Follower Friday is they say they announce the character who will be revealed. They didn't say which day they'll release info.

I think she may fit in the Aequitarians been pro-circle. It make sense for her to want to keep the mages in good light by been a good examine(following the rules) and helping people. Since she was about to become First Enchanter, the templars would want some from the Aequitarians that would cooperate with them and not try to stir a problem unlike the Isolationists or Libertarians. But I don't know much about the Fraternities, I'm just basic this off the little I do know.

I was curious: I've never seen the 'White Vivienne' picture that everyone is talking about. I reject the idea that she has to be white at all, but I'm a moth to controversy and I must at least see the car wreck, even if I won't partake. Anyone know of that picture? And where can I read about the controversy?
