Well, so far.  I wonder what "Sara" is going to turn out like.  Every since I saw the fan art of her pounding her fist into the table and making everyone crack up, I've been intrigued.

I honestly have a crush on all three lovely ladies.

my only disappointment is that our Elven princess seems to be an archer and as a Mage wanting to use Vivienne, I would've rather her be a duelist.

Well, I've heard rumors that we'll have more control over the combat set up for the companions (such as Varric being set up for another weapon, turning an archer into a dual wield, ect.)  That would be nice, and it could work around your issue.  

 

The problem is, it's just rumors at this point.  I haven't seen any WoG on the subject.

May I say I'm a little confused as to why so many people think she looks especially beautiful? I find her lips to be a shade too big, and I have no idea how her hair compliments her because of that stupid hat.

I can explain why I find her so lovely. 

 

In my opinion, her lips are perfect and look pretty luscious to me.  The high strong cheekbones along with the somewhat square jaw give her a feminine appearance, but also said (to me), "I'm not going to take your crap."  Her makeup is spot on and I think that the design from her hat (the one going across her brow) really just brings it all together.  The lack of visible hair doesn't bother me I suppose.  I do think the hat is silly, but if they removed the horns I think it would look just fine.

Black women are often blessed with incredibly full lips. It's a good thing, and Vivienne looks all the more lovely for it.

 

Also, I conform to the theory that she either has a shaved head, or very short hair. Shorter than Cassandra's.

I suppose we just have different lip tastes. And I have no objection to not taking crap; the problem comes from the fact that all of her description thus far makes me think she'll be slinging out plenty of crap of her own. All facets of her appearance and personality, while well-designed from an OOC viewpoint, strike me as coming together to say "way overdone." She's both ostentatiously unpleasant and unpleasantly ostentatious, as if Morrigan was aged up and a huge fashion snob, with an even larger ego that happened to be heavily tied to appearance.

Vivienne, thus far, is not fab to me. Romanced Merrill is fab. Varric is fab. Sebastian is somewhat fab. Morrigan is rustic-fab. Vivienne is an overstuffed fashionista ******, and that's a stereotype that I'd prefer to avoid having to see.
