If it helps, it's not a word I'd have used were I talking about anyone IRL. I did so here because her archetype appears to deliberately embrace a specific type of unpleasantness that's always associated with women (unless it's with flamboyantly gay men) when it appears in media, and it's one I tremendously dislike. I mean, I dearly hope more is done with Vivienne than this, I just can't understand why they chose to release the info that they have in this manner.

That's something about a lot of Bioware's characters that I absolutely adore. Even though I might not agree with their views, I still love the characters anyways.

Personally, I don't have to like all my companions.  I do want them to invoke a strong emotional response though, for good or for ill.  For example, that was the reason why Sebastian left me with an overall impression of "meh."  He didn't give me a good emotion tie that would merit a strong reaction.

 

As long as Vivienne is written as a well rounded character, even if I dislike her, I look forward to my PC meeting her.
