Wow this thread is almost as bad off as the 'Sera' thread currently is. Maybe just as bad, didn't read all of this one.
See BioWare... as I said before... we need moar info!
please
It's worse, I loved this thread before.

Rather dismissive, don't you think?
He's earned the respect.

The Solas one had David Bowie in it earlier. He is clearly the superior companion right now.
David Bowie? Hard to beat that- unless you are fabulous.
That said, I don't see how Vivienne's supposed rebellion or Circle stances affect her as a character. At least, not enough to prejudge everything before the game actually comes out. Who knows, maybe Lady V will have a stirring oration about mages and their responsibilities that would put all others to shame. The fact that she could possibly do so while FABULOUSLY dressed shouldn't matter.

There are actually a lot of more fabulous examples.
Merrill built an Eluvian from a single shard and while it remained inert, she could sense the power waiting to be tapped into. I credit her for what she was able to accomplish with her extensive research. I think being proactive is a lot better than doing nothing at all.
I'm not saying that she didn't accomplish much, but a lot of it was still guess work. And thing is, it still didn't work, which means she was missing whatever crucial piece that Morrigan was able to find, to activate the mirror.

You cannot deny that she placed the city upon her back though.

Apples and oranges. Morrigan didn't build one, she activated an existing one with the help of a Dalish tome.
My question is this: If Morrigan could use that tome alone to activate the eluvian, why didn't anyone else ever try do the same?
And Morrigan activating one makes Merrill's less completely worthless...how exactly?

It had been stolen by the Circle, yes? Presumably Merrill accessing the Gallows library wouldn't exactly be easy, assuming it even had one.

No, the tome in question was in the care of Ariane's clan, who gave the book to Morrigan.
This thread title remind me of the song "Let's Get Physical"

Then the Sabrae clan clearly didn't have one.
Why are we talking about Morrigan and Merrill in this thread?
Are you surprised, though?
Also, anyone else think that its a really bad idea to try and open an Eluvian in the middle of a city?

Odd. I was just thinking that Vivienne might need a "physical." ![]()
I did not realize this was the "Everything Except Vivienne Discussion Thread"
Can we pweez get back on topic so this thread doesn't get locked? *puppyface*
Are you surprised, though?
Of course I am surprised, BSN is well known for its on topic disc/-
I can't do it....
Moving on, I am curious as to how much Vivienne leans on Celene to try and affect conditions for mages within Orlais...

You think she does so at all?
Why are we talking about Morrigan and Merrill in this thread?
As Earth, Wind & Fire would say, "That's the, way of the world".
