Of course, it all depends on the person. All I'm saying is I'll love for a rugged, bearskin-wearing Fereldan to show her how some people fail to grasp what is "fab" about her clothes and only see them as an uncomfortable, impractical mess. No one has ever died because of a few blows to their ego xD.

I think Vivienne might be the first to do so lol

If one has a true ego they don't care about other peoples opinion in the slightest.

Gaider specified last year that dragons aren't sentient. That would mean that either Old Gods aren't as well, or they aren't really dragons.

How the bloody heck do Reavers work then?

If Dragons cannot comprehend at least basic notions of cognition how do they enter into agreement with Dragon Cults?

What does that mean? Is that an absolutist statement, Kain?

I think people want everyone to dress Ferelden like and forget about the Orlesians' style. We all know the Orlesians goes all out when it comes to the way they dress, so I don't know why so many people are bashing her fashion, while you could just embrace a different culture way of style.

Indeed. But I would suspect that someone willing to go to such extremes to be fashionable would expect some kind of peer approval.

I don't honestly know. I'm just reporting what Gaider stated.

Vivienne will be a good decoy if nothing else.

But I hate Orlesians on principle, it's nothing personal. I happen to find her sense of fashion very amusing.

I don't want  everyone to dress alike. Let her don her Orlesian robes. All the more power to her, and all the more fun for me xD.

Which if one dresses for other peoples approval doesn't have such a high ego after all. And if so yeah, she would take a hit.

I feel hollow and disheartened after learning this...

He's the writer, it's not like he's going to get a warning point.

I wonder if Mabaris are smarter than dragons then, since they can recognize things. "Smart enough not to talk" as Ser Gilmore said.

Gaider said that dragons are intelligent/smart animals, I believe. Just not sentient.

Well for the people that wants to change her clothes…it will just change to an ironic look of it. But I'm curious what people would want her to wear instead?

So, Flemeth in dragon form, how it'd apply to her?

So chances are they are smart enough to form symbioses with the Dragon Cults, just like how Mabari do with their owners.

She was dumb enough to not fly away when the Warden started winning their fight?

It's not like death was a major concern for her.

Anyway, who were we talking about again?

She was still human in mind.
Which is why i think the old Gods might've been very powerful shifters trapped in dragon forms.

It was enough of a concern to invest in a holcrux, just saying.

Obviously can be destroyed permanently if you need to do things like that.

Perhaps, But that wouldn't explain how deals of Dragon Cults were constructed, When the notion of being intelligent wasn't denied it could have been due to actual comphrension, so how do Dragons convey how their young can be culled? How many can be killed? All these details and notions that go along with Dragon Worship.

Gaider should have just kept the things smart, would have been far easier to explain.

Mutualistic symbiosis is one thing, Running a cult is another.

Given that her objective is to restore order to a world gone mad, I'd say her perspective on the issue is exactly the opposite of that.

I was referring only to her ambition, not the means of achieving it. Obviously Littlefinger had to use chaos as a ladder because he had humble origins. Vivienne is better suited to rise by using the establisment rather than tearing it down.

Beauty is a rather subjective concept. And fashion is ultimately about beauty. I don't find a woman loaded with lots of uncomfortable paraphernalia beautiful. Not because of it, anyway. I literally wince every time a see someone in high heels.

That's rather shallow of you.

When it comes to physical beauty - not at all imo.
