Just nitpicking here, but is anyone else bothered by the SMG's ammo block? It looks... weird.

im a gun nut too. i hold all my guns upside down when firing tho because i usually aim too high. i think shepard should hold his gun upside down too. it only makes sense if thats the way i do it. im thinking about canceling my preorder.

It'd be pretty nifty if they let you switch to holding it sideways in cases of large packs of enemies so that you could use the recoil to create a horizontal spray.  I know they'd never let you actually do it, they do let you can rotate your weapons in Dead Space, though.

The mini Uzi yes, but not the standard Uzi. I've fired a standard Uzi
and I'd probably have killed myself or nearby wildlife had I tried
firing it with one hand.

Its positioning bothers me. It makes no sense being so far forward either for cooling purposes or ammo.

If its the heat sink or ammo, then it doesn't bother me at all. I actually like it.
