Well that answered some of my questions, thank you Volus. 
Now if you could only tell me why my posts are being moderated, if you even see this post - and how I know if the Mods can see them.
I've made 8 posts now and not one has appeared in a thread, I keep checking and rechecking the rules - Am I missing something?

Question: how exactly does the multiquote work? Is that for nested quotes (quoting a reply which quotes the post to which they are replying) or so you can quote different posts in one of yours?

It allows you to quote multiple posts (or one post if you dont want to immediately reply).
If you quote a post with a quote in it. Only the post will be quoted not the quote in it (bleh, try saying that out loud)

Check topic moderation. If the option is there you can do it, if not then you cant.

I can only write replies to topics in Inquisition scuttlebutt, story sections. I can't write replies in DA:O and DA2. Why is that?

Is it now impossible to update my profiles via the dragon age website? it just says read only and never updates on there, so I cant put my new characters or achievements on there, it only has 2 characters I played about 5 years ago on it

/tell JesseReid, I followed the instructions and sacrificed a goat under the full moon at midnight while doing three laps widdershins around the sacred thingee and wearing a tutu but stubbed my toe on a chicken bone and tripped and fell and smashed the kiwi egg and lost the phoenix feather and somehow dropped the golden pantaloos; didn't get the club icon, do I get a refund? OOps did I hit the wrong but
