What brings you back here all the time?
A long time ago, I had to choose between this message board and others, seriously weighing the options. Ultimately, I keep coming because I have a ton of friends who want me to stick around here. Off-Topic is a major part of that too: Listening Thread, MLP, And the latest Game Threads are my Go-To. Others have this too, but the frequency of users posting was way too slow to feel worth nestling into it as my newfound home. It also has had social options like photo tagging and Animated GIF avatars that were seemingly exclusive to this Message Board.
I'd almost considered flocking completely to Harmonix due to its board renovation, but it's still a bit too slow. Most likely, I'll be Lurking/Posting off and on as Chroma's updates continues. Truth is, I'll never be an "RPG Fan". A Mass Effect fan, yes, but RPGs as a whole don't wow me the way Music Games do.

90% of the time I use online forums for 2 purposes: information and entertainment, and this site rarely fails to entertain.

Insanity.
Once you enter, you do not leave. The forum always brings you back. It's toxic. Gaider was right and it has made me increasingly insane over the years.

I am easily amused. And I like the discussion of different games in the Off-Topic forum.

I joined before ME3 came out because I was a huge Mass Effect fan, and I enjoyed discussing it (lore, endings, speculations, implications, etc.)
Once DA:I comes out, and ME4 eventually gets announced, I'm sure I'll be back in there, but now, I'm mainly here for the Off Topic forum. Its entertaining to say the least.

I assume he died and rose from the ashes.

Wasn't he dead?
Also, this name changing is confusing... I can't tell who are half of the people in my Friend list with those new avatars...
Also, are you RedArmyShogun?

What brings me back?
I have a lot of time on my hands and being retired gives me the time to hang around here on the forums.

What brings me back is usually the joy and love between people in most of the ME3 Story threads.
On a serious note, I like to kill time by visiting BSN. What better way to pass time than to talk about my favorite video game franchise?

Not sure if this helps but you can see what people changed their names from if you click on their profile.

I come back because I like ME3 and lurking a number of threads on this forum...
Although my eyes are now being ravaged by this unnecessarily bright theme...

I think it's mostly habit. That and an unhealthy sense of optimism. I have to keep checking because TODAY will be the day that they release lots of information about Inquisition. I'm sure there's a clinical name for this type of behavior.......

Despite my low post-count, I was on the original forum since late 2009, after Dragon Age: Origins came out. I later lost my password to my original account, Capt. Obvious (with the extra "t" in there) and made another account, the one I'm using right now. I LOVE the Dragon Age franchise and I'm fond of a lot of people here, like yourself simfamSP (nice to find another Stannis fan). The posts are for the most part, enjoyable to read and can be quite funny. Really, after sticking with the BSN community so long, how can I quit on it permanently?
Edit: And now I've changed my name from "Cap. Obvious" to "Captain Obvious." **** Yeah.

I don't even know why I still come on here. I started back when people were complaining in a thread about return to ostagar being delayed, and have stayed on since then posting all sorts of strange and random things. I like this site because you've got your fair shair of weirdos, jokesters, and other sorts of interesting people on here, so it's always amusing to see what's going on.
