I looked all over the Citadel hoping to buy her the toothbrush. And yes Shepard does ask one of his/her squadmates to remind him/her while crawling under the walkway on the Normandy.

Look on the bright side: now that you have an ME2 femshep to import, you can date her without having to do an entire trilogy playthrough.
