Yeah hooking up with [spoiler] would be the best thing for the show I think
Give him a reason to actually live
Daryl's been lifting dem weights to catch Rick's eye
(why am I not asleep <_<)
Hmmm
Not sure how I feel about that >_>
Where is the section? I didn't see it in the ME3 forums.
They've hidden it away under Customization as 'Party Members'. Old threads are intact and everything.
I uh...
Hmm. Eh. Not sure how to feel. It seems like it would be super awkward to go back to the Tali thread for me.
Are people still that heated over those things? We've all established our preferred LIs and really shouldn't have much more to argue. Unless people just like to argue when there's no hope of resolution.
@Tank
When I was deciding where and what to go to school for, I was originally going to go to the Royal Military College and study history to later be trained as an officer to serve in the Canadian military, preferably in the Navy.
The thing about my studies in mathematical physics is that they're just as theoretical, and tend not to leave much for practicallity in something other than research or obscure positions of employment. I really chose it because I liked it on par with history, and there was I had some pride in getting a scholarship to a pretty well respected institution for math. If I was going for practicality, I would have accepted the business/math double degree program or applied for accounting or engineering. Having a BMath is still probably better on a resume, but if I wanted a job outside of research I would probably need o focus more on computer science or the engineering side of things.
Point is, I love history too. I'm a hard worker, and I'm not really looking to become wealthy in life. I'm more interested in answering the questions I have, and studying history has really opened my eyes to many philosophical inquiries I never thought about before. I'm not too worried about getting a job if my studies and research don't end up being enough to carry me financially. I guess the term 'profitable' takes on a different meaning in my eyes. I'm probably a bit weird in this, but my family supports my decision, and it looks like I'll finish my undergrad without debt.

So, I'm supposed to start up an American history assigment. I haven't thought much about it yet, got anything you think I'd find interesting. The course is more on social and cultural history than military.
OK, sounds like you were in the same boat I was in college (but I started with history and I was part of ROTC, not a military academy, and for the Army). I'm just making sure you're aware that for history to pay off you got to have a degree of higher education like a masters--I'm currently only working as an unpaid intern in my field and this is the only thing I could really find open to me with an undergraduate degree. Congratulations on being able to do college without debt!
For history...hmm; have you a period that interests you in particular? If going social, without too much focus on the military, I'd personally look at the abolitionist movement or pre-civil war conflict like Bleeding Kansas and the Sumner Caning--but I'm listening to a lot of civil war songs right now and the Southern ones are getting on my nerves (it actually says "Northern vandals tread our soil,
Forth they come for blood and spoil,
To the homes we’ve made with toil,
Shouting slavery.
and then says "Traitorous Lincoln's bloody band"
As if they weren't the traitors who had the slaves!)
The class takes place post civil war, but that certainly is something I haven't studied extensively. I did a paper earlier on the annexation of hawaii and the debate of possible American imperialism in 1898. I really found it interesting. The only reason I say its not military is because of the way the prof glossed over both world wars. Perhaps it's because they're studied so much in other courses, but he did take time on Korea and in it looks like he will on Vietnam as well.
There's definitely a lot to choose from. I might focus on a presidency that I've never examined in detail. I haven't done that much American history, and I would love to figure out why my prof. seems to love Truman so much. >_>
Truman's pretty bad ass. https://www.trumanlibrary.org/
Of topic question:
What's a "Bun Minion" ?
Of topic question:
What's a "Bun Minion" ?
No clue. Some sort of inside joke I must have missed somewhere along the line.
I'll let Sneaky explain this one. She is our Bun Empress after all.
Milk Minions.
Lol jk jk jk, I have not the slightest clue.
Also, I notice you use "<_<" very excessively... lol
When you're empress of buns, you need to be exceptional in all things shifty. <_<
I certainly fear the shiftiness, oh bunerific Empress. Have mercy...
What the heck happened here o_O?
First it was I need to stop cussing and now its something about a bum empress?
Bun Peons?
Bunnites?
Bun Monkeys?
It doesn't have to be related to buns although buns are awesome. Y'all can choose whatever you want.
@Nate
We give homage to buns whenever possible. Especially man buns >_>_>
It was just a small joke back on the old forum. My love of manbutt was outnumbered vastly by all the womanbutt dude love so I promoted myself to Overruling Bun Empress. It seems to have worked so far.
I'm cool with bun minions, butt whatever. >_>
I immediately think of Despicable Me's fantastic minions, but in a bit of a different context. ![]()
Besides, we don't really have any community memes of our own as far as the re-established community is concerned. If we ever do have some hilarious moment in say: the five word story, then we can rename ourselves. Just being called a 'Member' is uninspired. If I get a vote, I'm fine with Bun Minions.
@Litefoot
Bun Monkeys sounds so ridiculous! Haha! I could hardly contain myself.
