Good idea. You can create the first contest thread with details on your topic, if you'd like. I think it would be best to create an individual thread for each contest, then just lock/archive the old ones.

That's a pretty cool t-shirt. If I have product related clothing it's usually just a t-shirt with the Coca-Cola written on it or some other silly thing that I couldn't care less about. I'd love to have an N7 hoody or maybe some Tali merch, but I've never really considered it.

^ It is an adorable Pokemon after all. Maybe it will inspire some interest into the sports for children who otherwise didn't give it more than a glimpse? Who knows.
